chapter 39, I'll always love you

Stefan held elena's hand with a firm grip and closed his eyes, he fount them outside the salvatore boarding house and Elena was sat on the front porch on the wall, Stefan smiled while he noticed her beauty, she wore a blue knee length dress with a white plain jacket and her long hair down round her shoulders with black white flats. Stefan smiled and sat next to Elena and hugged her tight, he wanted her to be back in his arms forever but it couldn't be real, He missed her so much more than anybody even Damon. He released the hug and Elena lent her head on his shoulder and watched the sky together past the boarding house.

"Why did you choose here?" Stefan asked

"Because this was when i told you I loved you and you showed yourself to me, who would ever forget that?" Elena asked and smiled

"Elena why did you have to go?" Stefan asked

"I don't know Stefan.. but its okay, you're strong you can do this" elena smiled

"No i can't not without you" stefan frowned

"Hey look at me, i'm still here" elena smiled and looked up at Stefan

"We don't have much time left" Stefan frowned

"It's my mind, of course we do, we have 2 more trips till I go" Elena smiled

Elena and Stefan travelled to the mystic falls high school, Stefan laughed and Elena waltzed into the hall where red balloons were floating around on the floor and music was playing in the background, Elena wore a beautiful red dress and her hair was curled floating down her back, Stefan smiled widely and Elena bowed down to him and twirled around.

"Interesting choice of scenery miss Gilbert" Stefan smiled

"Well it's a perfect time for it, Stefan Salvatore would you like to accompany me in one last dance?" Elena asked

"I would love to" Stefan smiled

They held hands and waltzed around the room, Stefan twirled Elena around and then they were instantly on an abandoned field dancing around, they stopped and laid on the grass watching the stars, Stefan held Elena's hands tight and then they both got up and Elena smiled widely.

"Thankyou for coming into my life when I needed someone Stefan" Elena smiled

"You made my life a whole journey of excitement" Stefan smiled

"And so did Katherine" Elena smirked

"It was always you Elena, it will always be you Elena and I can't help that, I've loved you more than anyone more than Katherine, when I first met you, I knew you were nothing like her, you're so selfless and kind and caring" Stefan smiled widely

"You made me happy again when I didn't think I could be happy again and I know I died loving Damon but... Stefan I did love you more than anything and anyone at the time and then when I turned it changed things" Elena frowned

"I know, you've done well tho Elena, after so many people you've lost, you've proved us all right that you've always been the strongest and you never gave up on hope" Stefan smiled

"If we don't believe in love or life then what's the point of being free and alive?" Elena asked

"Elena i can't anymore, i've lost you" stefan cried

"Stefan please... don't cry" Elena cried

"Elena I can't let you go" Stefan cried

"You have to" Elena whispered

"Please" Stefan begged

"Stefan i'll always love you okay" Elena whispered and cried

"i'll always love you" Stefan cried

"Please be strong, look after Damon for me" Elena whispered and hugged him tight

"I promise i will" he whispered

"I have to go... this is goodbye for now, I'll always love you Stefan" Elena cried releasing the hug and faced him

"And i'll always love you Elena, sleep well" Stefan cried

And with that Elena entered back towards the gate of the field and was gone, Stefan opened his eyes and leaned down and kissed Elena on the cheek and put inside of her coffin a photo of all of them, he walked back and Damon hugged him and then Damon went up with tears in his eyes again, he held Elena's hand noticing her beauty and closed his eyes.

I didn't really know what to do for a Stelena goodbye but i tried to make it as meaningful as possible but if anyone wants it changing i'll edit it for you

I have an announcement for you all

My new book will be called Love Sucks and it will be about Elena and stefan being together for years and then a new bad boy moves to their town, Damon salvatore, they aren't brothers in this story they are cousins and then Elena's older sister Katherine stirs up trouble

It should be interesting as im nearly finished with this book
