Elisa's POV
Five hours. That's all I had left before Davina comes. I had no clue what to do. Should I cast a spell? She would probably be able to get in still.
Do we run? She'd find us.
I hugged Kol's bare chest and sighed. "What's wrong, darling?" A raspy voice asked.
"I'm scared Kol. What if Davina comes for us right now? What do we do?" I felt tears in my eyes but tried to hold them back. I needed to hear him tell me he'd help me and stand by me.
Kol sat up and his hands embraced my face. "I promise you, no matter what, I will never choose her. I will always choose you".
A smile rose to my face, as pure happiness overflowed my body. I let my lips connect with Kol's, pushing him back into the bed and crawling on top of him, letting the time pass us by.
Davina's POV
I stirred the warm liquid in my cauldron, watching it bubble away.
"I don't get it" Rosetta said from behind me. She was sat in an old armchair, watching my every move. "Why did you create plan A? What good will it do?"
I shook my head. I'd explained this so many times to her but she still didn't understand. "Plan A has already begun. It will break your daughters heart into pieces and she won't be able to stop it. Plus it will drive her insane with hurt that she'll probably kill herself without my influence".
"You're so... evil. I like it" Rosetta smirked at me, and I smiled back, continuing to stir the black liquid in the cauldron.
*five hours later*
Elisa's POV
I stood holding Kol's hand, watching the door fearfully. Time had flown past and now it was time to seal our fate. I looked up at Kol, who was blinking his eyes that were turning slightly red from him rubbing them. "What's wrong?" I asked concerned.
"It's nothing, my eyes are just sore". Suddenly I heard familiar footsteps on the street and my heartbeat began to speed up.
Davina entered, her face emotionless when she saw us. Stopping few feet from us, she stared at me coldly before turning to Kol and smiling.
"Hope you two enjoyed your last few hours together. And I take it you know what's going on, Elisa?"
Kol looked down guiltily, realising he hadn't told me, but I kept my head up and stood strongly. "I know".
Kol turned to look at my in surprise. "How?" I faced him and sighed. "I overheard you both together". He looked down in shame but quickly recovered and faced Davina.
"Trouble in paradise already? Well you're about to get more".
Suddenly, Davina was joined by my mother, stopping beside her and sending me a look of disgust. "Hello mother" I said.
"You are no daughter of mine" she hissed, raising her hand at me. "No!" Davina shouted.
My mother froze and thought about what she was doing before placing her hand by her side. I knew something else was going on, but couldn't understand what.
"Kol. Step forward" Davina gestured to him. Looking at me for one last time, he did as she said, moving between into the middle of both of us and stopping.
"This is how this is going to work. You're going to choose one of us and walk to the side you're on. But remember the consequences of your actions" Davina explained before pulling out the doll that was connected to me. I froze in my place as fear overflowed through me.
"Kol, make your choice now".
I watched as he turned and looked between the two sides, unsure of where to go. His eyes became more red, which made me more worried about what was going on and whether that was Davina's doing.
After a long time of debate, he started walking.....
