Act 1: Part 3

Ray

Ray pondered and looked at the ocean as he fallowed it slightly, He turned in-land when he found a stream. Everything looked so so surreal, The slight trickle water as he walked along the was calming. Ray held two double edged swords in hand. Each laced with thorns and the hilt gilded with roses. 

Ray couldn't wait for nightfall honestly, even if the thought of a giant spider attacking him wasn't so pleasant. But his adrenaline was high, he was ready to fight something, unfortunately there were no mobs in daylight.

The sun was going down, slowly, but going down. He'd soon get his fight when the sky exploded into pink and yellow. Ray couldn't wait to rant and rave with his friends about how flippin awesome this was. He knew SBURB was kickin but he'd no idea how much! 

It was the over-worldly feeling of minecraft but real as touching a strand of grass. It was unbelievably beautiful, Ray felt the world around him grow slightly darker. He turned to find the sun plunging into the ocean, illuminating the sky in red's and yellow's. He watched as the red became navy blue and it was gone, unsettling silence fell around him. Ray drug one blade over the other switching them over each-other like a serial killer in a slasher movie.

"Bring it" He smirked at the gurgle and cackling sound, The spider charged thought the trees. Black front legs reared up its mandibles clicking together. All 8 red eyes glared down at him.

Ray gaped at the creature, reared up it was his own light. As its front legs hit the ground he lunged foreword. The spider made a fighting effort to kill Ray, But when the double edged sword was brought through its head and the other stabbed into its body it yelped and died.

Black blood like ink flowed out and Ray found it was on his slacks and sleeves. Ray was slightly out of breath as he pulled the swords out with a jerk. The hand reached out just as Ray turned, only long enough for him pull away and slice the hand off with one swift movement. 

The zombie did little but groan at him. Flesh hung off its bones limply.  The holes in its skin had maggots crawling out of them. At closer look, Ray almost puked and he quickly cut the head off the zombie. Now he was defiantly out of breath. Night fall wasn't so great after all.

If these were only two monsters in the world, then this might not be such a breeze after all.
