"Hold on, hold on. Okay, go. Go, go, go, go, go." Scott and Isaac carry the body bag to Scotts car. We get to the car as Scott drops his half of the body. He panics as a car drives up to us.
"Argent." I warned them.
"You're alone." Scott notice.
"More than you know." Oh, family trouble?
"What do you want?" Scott asked him.
"We don't have much in common, Scott. But at the moment, we have a common enemy." Well duh, a killing lizard.
"That's why I'm trying to get him out of here." Scott nods his head to the bag and the car.
"I didn't mean Jackson." Argent sighs. Wait, what?
"Gerard has twisted his way into Allison's head, the same way he did with Kate. And I'm losing her. And I know you're losing her too." Oh, that makes sense. Allison has become a bitch lately so of course its Gerard's fault.
"You're right. So can you trust me to fix this?" Scott asked as Argent nods his head.
"Then can you let us go?"
"No. My car is faster." Argent turns to his car. We get inside the car and take off to the meeting spot Derek messaged Scott. We all get out of the car.
"I think he stopped moving." Isaac noted.
"Where's Derek?" Argent asked. As if on que, Derek comes running toward us on all four. Wow, he really is a dog.
"I'm here for Jackson. Not you." Argent says.
"Somehow, I don't find that very comforting. Get him inside." Derek tells Scott and Isaac. The betas carry the body bag into the building as Argent and I follow closely.
"Where are they?" Scott asked.
"Who?" Derek looked confused.
"Peter and Lydia." Derek shrugs his shoulders as he kneels down to the body bag and opens it.
"Whoa, hold on a second. You said you knew how to save him." Scott stops him.
"We're past that." Derek tells him.
"What about," Scott starts.
"Think about it, Scott. Gerard controls him now. He's turned Jackson into his own personal guard dog. And he set all of this in motion so that Jackson could get even bigger and more powerful." Derek shouts.
"No. No, he wouldn't do that. If Jackson's a dog, he's turning rabid, and my father wouldn't let a rabid dog live." Argents states.
"Of course not. Anything that dangerous, that out of control - Is better off dead." Gerard comes in hold a gun to my sisters side.
Derek goes to slash Jackson's throat open as Jackson wakes up and stabs Derek in his abdomen. He lifts Derek up and throws him across the room.
"Bella!" I step forward. I could see tears and blood staining her face. Anger boils in me. She has nothing to do with this.
"Yes Alexis. Isabella is here. Unfortunately your grandmother couldn't make it. I've sent someone over to her house to take care of her. Don't worry, she's in good hands. We have to exterminate the Guardians. That includes you and your grandmother. Of course we have to take your sister since her children would be Guardians." Gerard smirks as the gun goes off.
"No!" I screamed. Gerard throws Bella across the room. I run over to her as the kanima throws me.
"Well done to the last, Scott. Like the concerned friend you are, you brought Jackson to Derek to save him. You just didn't realize that you were also bringing Derek to me." Gerard says. Two arrows go flying across the room as Scott ducks they hit Isaac.
"Allison?" Scott asked. Scott drags Isaac over toward me as I sit up.
"Im gonna kill your girlfriend and then Gerard." I grit my teeth. I pull the arrows out of Isaac. Issac, Scott and Derek wolf out and try to fight off the kanima. I run over to Isabella.
"Bella." I kneel down beside her. She was covered in blood.
"Im fine. Go help your friends. Go!" She tells me. I take off running and as Scott gets thrown into me. We get up and run toward the scene.
Isaac wraps his hands around the kanima's throat as Derek climbs the fork lift. The kanima throws Isaac off of it. Derek jumps down and hits the kanima in the back, making it scratch.
It throws a punch which Derek blocks. It pushes him but Derek does a backflip off a wall and goes for another punch. The kanima catches the pinch and grabs Derek's chest and slammed him into the wall. Derek rolls on the ground. Scott kicks it in the back making it hit the ground. He goes for a punch as the kanima kicks scott up against the wall. Derek goes to attack as the kanima slashes his stomach. Derek falls to the ground.
I raise my hands up and throw the kanima a couple times. It hits the wall and the ground. I walk up to it see it squirm and gasped for air. I felt a shock of pain go to my stomach. I let go of the kanima and look down. There was in fact an arrow in my stomach.
"Lexy!" Scott yells. Isaac and Derek both roar as my knees buckle to the ground. I pull the arrow out and lay down on the ground. I could feel my heart beating. Isaac stands up to attack the kanima as Allison goes up and stabs him in the chest. He goes to punch her but she blocks him and stabs him in his side's. He hits the ground laying next to me.
"Alexis." He grabs one of my hands as I hold my stomach from pouring out blood with the other. Allison goes to attack Derek.
"No, Allison!" Scott tries to stop her but the kanima disarms her and holds its claws against her throat.
"Not yet, sweetheart." Gerard steps out from the shadows.
"What are you doing?" Allison asked him. Isaac shifts to normal as he crawls over to me. He puts pressure on my arrow wound.
"Im healing." I whisper as pain shows on my face.
"Slowly." He whispers back.
"He's doing what he came here to do." Scott answers.
"Then you know." Gerard assumes.
"What's he talking about?" Allison asked gasping for air.
"It was the night outside the hospital, wasn't it, when I threatened your mother. I knew I saw something in your eyes. You could just smell it, couldn't you?"
"He's dying." Isaac states.
"I am. I have been for a while now. Unfortunately, science doesn't have a cure for cancer yet. But the supernatural does." He's crazy.
"That goes against the code. You were ok with it when Allison mother was bitten but killing innocent werewolves and Guardians. Revenge for Kate, she was the one that broke the code too. If you become a werewolf, hunters will come after you." I sit up clutching my stomach. Isaac helps hold me up. Gerard claps his hands slowly and chuckles.
"Smart girl. Once I become the alpha, no one can stop me. For you would be dead along with your friends." He smirks at me.
