"Stiles, just to warn you, you're going to hear a lot of noise during the MRI. It's due to pulses of electricity going through metal coils inside the machine. Uh, if you want we can get you earplugs or headphones." The doctor says as I pull out my headphones.

"Oh, no, no, I don't need anything." Stiles says. I shove my headphones back in my pocket.

"Hey, we're just on the other side of that window. Okay?" The sheriff says.

"Okay." Stiles nods his head as the adults leave the room.

"You know what they're looking for, right? It's called frontotemporal dementia. Areas of your brain start to shrink. It's what my mother had. It's the only form of dementia that can hit teenagers. And there's no cure." Stiles tells us.

"Stiles, if you have it, we'll do something. I'll do something." Scott tells him.

"Your gonna be just fine. All of us." My eyes start to tear up. We hug each other tightly as the tears spill out silently. After our emotional moment the doctor told Scott and I to sit in the waiting room. Derek shows up as I sat next to him.

"You know the stuff you we're telling me about chemo signals earlier? It reminded me of the time you we're teaching me to use anger to control the shift." Scott says.

"I think you ended up teaching me more about that." Derek smirks.

"Are you teaching me again?" Scott asked with amusement.

"Think of it more like sharing a few trade secrets. You know, I took Cora back to South America, right? It's where she spent most of her time after the fire. But that's not the only reason I left. I needed to talk to my mother." Derek says as I was confused.

"Your dead mother?" Scott asked confused. I glare at him.

"She told me something that changed my perspective on a lot of things. She said that my family didn't just live in Beacon Hills. They protected it. This town needs someone to protect it. Someone like you." Derek tries to hide the smile on his face.

"And someone like you to teach me a few trade secrets." Scott says. He looks down at the ground puzzled then stands up.

"Scott, what's wrong?" I asked as I sit forward.

"He was trying to protect us. Stiles was protecting us." Scott says.

"From himself." Derek mumbles. Scott runs toward the stairs as Derek and I follow after him. He was head to the roof.

"What are we looking for?" Derek asked as we get to the roof.

"I'm not sure. But I think Stiles wasn't just up here struggling with himself. I think he was struggling not to do something." Scott says. The two boys walk over to a few generators reaching over top of the fence and pulling a back out which falls to the ground emptying out tools.

Have you figured out my riddle yet?

The voice. The voice was back. My temples erupted with pain. I put a shield around myself as I felt my eyes flickering. From green to normal. I grit my teeth.

"Alexis!" Derek and Scott look at me as I collapse to my knees.

"What's happening to her?" Scott exclaimed.

Your friends. Your family. Everyone who ever meant something to you. We're going to destroy all of them, Stiles. One-by-one.

"No. No. No. Get out of my head. Get," I tried to speak but I couldn't hear myself talk. The pain shoots through my skull as I scream loudly then the pain stopped. I stopped resisting. I relax my jaw and put my hands down by my sides as I stand up straight. I tilt my head to the side.

"Everyone has it, but no one can lose it. What is it?" The words come out like venom. My eyes glowed bright green.

"What is she talking about? What's wrong with her eyes? Lexy!" Scott asked.

"Everyone has it, but no one can lose it. What is it?" I repeat.

"I don't know. She was saying this at the school." Derek says.

"Everyone has it, but no one can lose it. What is it? What is it?" I shouted angrily. The two boys look at me.

"A shadow." I whispered and smirk as I raise my hands up, then the explosion happens. While the two boys are being occupied with the electricity, I escape and go back inside the hospital looking for void.

Nurses, doctors and patients brush right past me. Bumping into my shoulders as I kept walking. I get to the room and see void sitting on the bed tying his shoes. He looks at me and smirks.

"Nylock, you found me." He stands up and offers his hand to me. I take it without hesitating. we get out into the hallway as the lights started to flicker. Out of the corner of my eyes the elevator door opens wide revealing Noshiko. Void and I face her. We walk to her as she stayed put in the elevator.

"You know me." Noshiko states. Both void and I nod our heads. We stopped walking.

"Then you remember that I won't be deterred by your choice of host. Even if it's an innocent boy." Noshiko says.

"Are you threatening us?" Void asked her. Two Oni show up beside her.

"Now I'm threatening you." She says.

We're not really afraid of your little fireflies." Void smirks as I step forward and put a shield up. The power, It was more. I just feel so much energy running through my veins. I felt like I was the sun radiating energy. We turn to walk away as I kept the shield up.

"If the oni can't defeat you, I know someone who will." Noshiko says as we stop dead in our tracks.

"Not if I take care of it." I smirk.
