"Isaac was attacked." We meet up with mama McCall. My eyes widen.
"Is he alright? He's healing?" I asked.
"Yes, slowly but he is." She nods her head.
"Why didn't you tell me before?" Scott asked as we walk inside the hospital.
"Honestly, I was hoping I didn't have to." Mama McCall sighs deeply.
"What do you mean?" Scott asked.
"Everything that you've been doing... the extra reading, the summer school, saving up for the bike, even though it scares me half to death... honey, I just didn't wanna disrupt a good rhythm." Mama McCall rushes over her words.
"It's not gonna stop. I-I'm gonna be better this year. A better student, a better son, a better friend, a better everything. I promise." Scott stops her from walking any further. Wow, he really is trying this year.
"Okay. He's in room 215 if he isn't already in surgery." Mama McCall says quietly.
"Thanks mom." I chirped.
"Thank you." He kisses his moms cheek as he grabs my hand. We take off down the hall and into an elevator. As the elevator doors get ready to close something comes in between them. Scott opens the elevator revealing a man with a cane and sunglasses. Blind man. He walks inside the elevator.
"Would you hit the button for the second floor, please?" The man asked. The same floor we were going to.
"Yeah." Scott presses the button.
"Thank you." The man says. We finally reach our floor as the three of us stepped out.
"You wouldn't mind helping me out for a second, would you?" The man asked as he clasp a hand on Scotts shoulder. Scott look at me wide eyed as I shrug my shoulders. Its a blind man, we can't say no but we have bigger problems.
"Um... sure." Scott gives in. We start walking down the hallway at Scott drops his head to the ground. I tried not to laugh. I tried my hardest. Because I know that if you meet a blind man he can most definitely hear. We took him into the cafeteria and walk out. We look in Isaac's room as it was empty.
"So he's in surgery." I look at Scott as he nods his head.
We walk around the corner as this male nurse was rolling out someone in a wheelchair. Isaac. Scott has a stare down with this guy as I step out from behind Scott to beside him. The male nurse smirks. Scott extends his claws and roars loudly. He takes off running into the elevator. I could see the male nurse shift as his eyes glowed red. An Alpha. Part of the alpha pack? I tried to run after it but the doors closed in my face. I continuously push the button but it was no use. I couldn't use my abilities to stop the elevator and open it. There were people here. I ran straight for the stairwell and hopped over the railings, in stead of going down the stairs like a normal person would. I got to the floor as Derek was stand with elevator door wide open with his claws inside the Alpha's back. Well then.
"So am I." Derek says as he throws the alpha across the hallway passed me. I walk over to the elevator and see Scott sitting on the floor.
"Aren't you supposed to be in school?" Derek looks at Scott then turns to look at me.
"Got off for good behavior." I mumbled walking over to the boys.
"Doesn't that only work in prison?" Scott breaths out.
"I don't see the difference between the two." I shake my head, helping Scott up. He shifts back to normal as we head over to the Hale house.
We get inside the Hale house as Derek places Isaac on the table. I pushed the hair out of Isaac's face. Scott was on the phone with Stiles. Derek moves the floorboards from where there was a hole in the floor. According to Derek that's where Peter was buried in wolfsbane.
