"The axe was laced with wolfsbane. I don't know the species so I'm going to have to burn it out." A familiar voice said. My eyes flutter open as I look around. My hands feel around my surroundings. I was bandaged up and on the couch. I could hear the sound of a clicking sound. My eyes dart toward it as I see Derek holding up a lighter to a shirtless Peter.

"I think I can handle a little fire." Peter smirks. Derek raise the blow torch up and turns it on.

"Ah, hell." Peter mutters. Derek sets fire to Peters chest as I sit up. I lay my head in my hands as I felt a bit of pain around my temples. The pain stops as Peter yells and falls to the ground. Derek helps him up.

"He said he was after you." Peter says.

"How does a guy with no mouth say anything?" Derek asked.

"With this." Peter holds up the glove with the keyboard.

"You got it." I stand up. Derek rushes to me as I wave him off.

"Im fine." I sighed.

"So we got his talking device thing. What do we do now?" Peter asked.

"This is high technology, we should take it to the sheriff. Maybe he would know?" I suggested as Derek nods his head. Derek and I head straight to the sheriffs station.

"I still don't get how this guy has no mouth. How can he eat?" The sheriff asked in disbelief.

"Peter and Alexis didn't get a chance to ask. Peter was fighting him off with a tomahawk buried in his chest. Alexis was stabbed in the back and almost choked to death." Derek says. I nod my head as my hand traces the bruises on my throat.

"Who runs around with a tomahawk." The sheriff asked.

"I carried one for IED removal in Afghanistan. It's military. And so is that. Ms. Carson." Parrish walks in.

"Parish." I greet him. Ever since he arrived here, he has been severely helpful and kind toward me.

"Do you know what it's used for?" Derek asked.

"Well, this one looks like it's been modified." He points at the glove. Derek eyes him suspiciously. The sheriff looks at us as I look at Derek. Derek nods his head as the sheriff closes the door.

"Show us." The sheriff tells him. Parish sits in the sheriffs chair and plugs the glove up to a laptop. We all gather around him.

"Okay, I think I got an IP address." Parish tells us as the sheriff leans forward.

"That means we can find him, right?" The sheriff asked.

"Definitely. Especially if," Parish speaks the fingers on the glove move.

"What was that?" Derek asked.

"I think I found a message. Does anyone recognize the handle Benefactor?" Parish asked. Derek stands up and walks over to the laptop.

"Money transferred. What does that mean?" Derek asked as I walk over to the laptop.

"That means this guy is not just a killer. He's an assassin." Sheriff tells us.

"Lets follow the IP address and get this weirdo." I walk out of the sheriffs station straight for Derek's car. Derek and the sheriff come out.

"You need to stay. You haven't healed all the way." Derek says as I scoff.

"Alexis please. You can't come." The sheriff says.

"Try and stop me." I get into the passenger seat. Both men stood outside of the car as I prop my feet up on the dash. Finally realizing I wasn't going any where they get into the car as we drive to the school.

"You know, just because this guy is connected to the school's WiFi, doesn't mean he's still here." Derek says as he walks in casually.

"True. But I've seen enough in this school to keep my gun in hand when walking in after dark. Like blood." The sheriff points at the ground by the classroom door. A puddle of blood was spilling out from underneath it.

"Maybe someone got to him before us." I held my hands up creating a shield around us.

"That doesn't make sense." Derek says confused.

"Yeah, no kidding." The sheriff looks around the halls.

"That's not what I mean. I should've caught the scent before we walked in." Derek says. I study him quickly. This whole thing Kate did to change his eye color changed his entire life. Derek goes to open the door as the sheriff stops him.

"Hold on. You nervous makes me nervous." The sheriff says.

"Let me." I step forward.

"No, I can do it." The sheriff cracks the door open.

"It's an explosive. A claymore. Get down!" Derek shoves us to the ground as a tomahawk goes into the wall.

I flip over and put a shield around the sheriff. I throw the mouthless man at the lockers as he throws a tomahawk straight at me and into my shoulder. I shriek in pain as I pull the tomahawk out and throw it to the ground. The sheriff gets thrown into the lockers. Derek dodges the hits and tomahawks. He hits the mouthless man and throws him into the lockers pulling his arms back so the tomahawks fall out of his hands. I put a shield around the tomahawks as the sheriff picks his gun up and aimed it at the mouthless man.

"You have the right to remain silent." The sheriff says as he slaps the cuffs on the mouthless man.

"Anything you say, can and will be used against you in the court of law. You've the right to an attorney. If you cannot afford one," I could see Peter out of the corner of my eyes as I turn around and try to put a shield up. He charges and throws me into the locker as I hit my head hard.

"No, Peter, no!" Derek yells. Peter uses his claws and tares apart the mouthless man's chest. I stand up quickly and press my hand on Peters back as he rips the heart out. The sheriff aims his gun at Peter.

"Peter stop." I say clearly. Peter drops the heart and stands up. I take my hand down as he grabs a tissue out from his pocket and wipes his hands. I step away from Peter as he turns around and walks away.

"We've learned a better way." Derek says.

"I'm a creature of habit." Peter says as he continues walking. The sheriff puts the gun down.
