"Get off! Get off!" I screamed bloody murder. I started to kick and thrash my body all over the place. The monsters were trying to get me again.
"Wake up!" I shot up gasping for air. I look around as see everyone in Isaac's and my bedroom. I try to catch my breath as Scott sits on the bed next to me as I wrap my arms around him and cry.
"Its ok. Its alright. I got you." Scott says as he pets my head. I went back to sleep while Scott stayed with me. Isaac waited by the door. I was getting nightmares like crazy. There wasn't really an explanation why I have them other then Deaton saying I died. The after life changes things and being dead for over an hour then coming back to live could cause damage mentally. I was going to ask about my abilities but he said they would be fine. Lately, I've been dreaming about these black cloak figures. They wore silver mask, had swords and their eyes shined bright yellow. Brighter then a beta or omegas eyes. Sometimes its Kate. She was like a werewolf but different.
Mama McCall and I were down stairs in the kitchen as I was nibbling on a pop tart. I wasn't really hungry. Im rarely hungry anymore.
"Honey, you don't have to go to school. The other two have to but you don't." Mama McCall walks over to me and hugs me lightly. I stayed quiet and nodded my head. There was a large bang from upstairs that made me flinch. Mama McCall scoffs and walks up the stairs as I follow after her. She stands in front of me as I see Isaac sitting up against the wall wincing in pain.
"Hey! You two supernatural teenage boys. Don't test my entirely un-supernatural level of patience." Mama McCall looks at them sternly as she walks back down stairs.
"Feel better?" Isaac asked Scott as I walk past them to my room. I grab my phone and bag. The outfit choice was not by me, it was by Lydia. She and I have gotten closer then before. So have Allison and I. Weird, huh? She broke Scott's heart and stole my boyfriend from me but I'm a forgivable person. She seems a lot cooler then I though she was. Scott lets me ride with him on his bike to school.
"You feeling better?" Scott shouted over the engine.
"Yeah, just tired." I yawned as we pull into the school. He parks the bike up to the school as I get off. Scott takes his helmet off and starts at it.
"Scott?" I adjust my skirt as he shakes his head to rid whatever he saw.
"You ok?" I look at him concerned.
"Im alright." He says. We walk toward the front of the school as Scott stares at his shadow. He takes off running as if his shadow was trying to scare him.
"Scott!" I take off after him.
"Hey. Hey, you all right? You don't look all right, Scott." I could hear Stiles voice as I caught up to them.
"I'm okay." Scott says.
"No, you're not. It's happening to you too. You're seeing things, aren't you?" Stiles admits.
"How'd you know?" Scott asked.
"Because it's happening to all three of you." Lydia and Allison walks up behind us.
"Oh, Lexy the outfit looks good. I did a great job." Lydia nods in approval.
"Thanks Lyd." I beamed.
"Well, well, look who's no longer the crazy one." Lydia sings as we walk into the school.
"I'm just having nightmares because I died." I mumble.
"So are they." Lydia smirks.
"But they sacrificed themselves I didn't. She killed me with a dagger." I point out.
"We're not crazy." Allison denys.
"Hallucinating? Sleep paralysis? Yeah, you guys are fine." Lydia says sarcastically.
"We did die and come back to life. That's gotta have some side effects, right?" Scott says. The school bell rings as we all look at each other.
"We keep an eye on each other. Okay? And Lydia, stop enjoying this so much." Stiles says.
"What?" Lydia asked. We walk into our first class. History.
"Good morning, everyone. My name is Mr. Yukimura. I'll be taking over for your previous History Teacher. My family and I moved here three weeks ago. I'm sure, by now, you all know my daughter, Kira. Or you might not since she's never actually mentioned anyone from school. Or brought a friend home for that matter." The teacher points to the back at a girl how slams her head on the desk. Poor girl.
"Either way, there she is. Now, let's begin with American History at the turn of the 20th century." Our teacher says. After finishing up the lesson, the bell rings. We head out to the hall over to Stiles locker.
"Maybe we need a little more time to get back to normal." Scott thinks.
"Yeah, try not to forget we hit the reset button on a supernatural beacon for supernatural creatures. There's a pretty good chance things are never going back to normal." Stiles says as he tries to open his locker. It didn't work. He looks at the lock closely and sighs.
"Yeah." Scott mumbles. He looks past the crowd of students as Stiles was still staring at his lock. Stiles shakes his head as Scott looks at us. His eyes were glowing bright red.
"Oh, dude, your eyes." Stiles points out.
"What about them?" Scott asked.
"They're starting to glow." Stiles exclaims.
"You mean like right now?" Scott asked.
"Yes, right now. Scott, stop. Stop it." Stiles tries to get him to stop.
"I can't, I can't control it." Scott pants.
"Get him out of here. I think he's gonna turn." I tell Stiles.
"All right, just keep your head down. Look down, come on. Keep your head down." Stiles ducks scotts head down as they head into a classroom. I follow after them. Scott takes his coat and back pack off and strata to growl. Stiles tries to walk over to Scott as Scott stumbles away.
"Get back away from me." Scott warns us.
"Scott, it's okay." Stiles assures him. I pull Stiles back and hold a shield up.
"I don't know what's going to happen. Get back." Scott tells us. He was growling loudly as he his fangs and claws were out. Allison was no longer his anchor so he had to find something else.
"Pain Scott! Use pain!" I tell him. Scott digs his claws into the palm of his hands. They were dripping blood as he sinks into the ground. He was now calming down as I put the shield down.
"Pain makes you human." Scott shifts to normal. Stiles and I walk over to scott as I take my scarf off and wipe the blood off of Scott.
"Scott, this isn't just in our heads. This is real. And it's starting to get bad for me too. I'm not just having nightmares. I'm having dreams where I have to literally scream myself awake. And sometimes I'm not even sure if I'm actually ever waking up." Stiles admits.
"What do you mean?" Scott asked.
"Do you know how you can tell if you're dreaming? You can't read in dreams. More and more, the past few days, I've been having trouble reading. It's like I can't see the words. I can't put the letters in order." Stiles says.
"Like even now?" Scott looks at him. Stoles stands up and looks around the room.
"I can't read a thing." Stiles says.
