After telling coach that Kira has never played lacrosse in her life I got to leave. I head straight for the hospital to meet up with Scott and Stiles. I run straight into the hospital and see Scott, Stiles and Liam at the front desk trying to check him in. Mama McCall walks up to us.
"Uh... Hi, Mom." Scott greets her. Mama McCall gives us the disappointed motherly look as we bow our heads down. We know. Actually this is all on Scotty. I blame him.
"Don't worry, Liam. We'll take good care of you." Mama McCall tells him as they wheel him into a room.
"I got to get going. I promised Malia I'd help her study." Stiles tells us. I wiggle my eyebrows at him as he scoffs.
"Seriously Lexy. She needs a lot of help." He tells me.
"I can help tutor her too. Scott was on his own and was getting C's and D's. Now he's getting B's with my help." I say proudly.
"I tell her about it. I gotta go." He tells us.
"Sure. I want to check on him anyway." Scott says.
"Hey, I don't need to say that wasn't your fault, right?" Stiles looks at him.
"I don't know." Scott admits.
"Scott, if you had used any wolf power that kid wouldn't be limping, he'd be crawling, back to the other half of his body." Stiles says.
"If I hadn't been so worried about being captain he wouldn't be hurt either." Scott gives in.
"It's okay to want something for yourself once in a while. Team captain, Alpha werewolf. You're still only human." Stiles tells him he goes to walk away and then turns around pointing at me.
"Don't do anything stupid."
"What me? You should be talking to Scott. I'm the one who helps you guys out when y'all cause problems." I exclaimed as Stiles laughs.
"I love you!" I yell on the top of my lungs.
"Love you too!" He yells back then leaves. Scott and I wait on the other side of the closed door Liam was behind with the doc. Scott looked defeated. The doc comes walk out of the room past us. Scott's phone rings.
"Hey, Lydia." He answers.
"Okay, slow down..." Scott tells her.
"What's going on?" I asked.
"So am I. I'm at the hospital too with Lexy." He says as his eyes widened. He hangs up the phone he hangs up the phone grabbing my hand as we run down the hallway.
"Scott?" I call for him.
"The survivor of the axe family murder is here at the hospital. Something bad is going to happen." He tells me as we get closer to the elevator.
"Wait! Hold the doors!" Scott yells but it was too late. Run up the stairs and enter the hallway hearing screaming.
"Mom!" I yell as Scott growls.
"No! Leave me alone! No!" Mama McCall screams as the guy was on top of her. Scott shifts as he roars loudly. I glow my eyes. I move Mama call out the way and put a shield around us as Scott runs down the hallway and tackles the guy down to the ground. The guy pushes Scott off of him and takes off running as I run after him. For some reason we were just down this hallway. Liam's hallway. I could hear Liam screaming as I follow him all the way up to the roof top. I move my hands back and forth trying to get this guy off of Liam. He tackled me to the ground. The guy shows his rows of teeth and his white blank eyes at me. What the hell is this thing? He throws me into one of the generators as I hit my head and fall to the ground. I lift my head up as my vision was blurry. I could see Scott already here. I didn't know when he got here but he was here. I sit up and see the guy still holding a Liam close to the roof top ledge.
"Let me help you." Scott tells the guy.
"Wendigos don't need help. We need food!" The guy says back. Scott roars loudly as he jumps toward the guys. The guy throws Liam off the ledge as Scott catches his arms the guy holds Scott behind him. I go to tackle the guy as something latches onto my arms pulling me back. My back hits the ground as a man with no mouth stands before me. I didn't know whether to fight him, or to kill him or let him do what he was doing. But the next thing I know is Liam screaming in pain as Scott's teeth bare down onto his arms.
"Oh god." I mutter. The mouthless man shoots a bullet into the guy's head. Scott pulls Liam up from the ledge as Scott turns around and looks at the mouthless man. The mouthless man holds a finger up to where his mouth should be then walks away. I turn around and see Liam clutching his arm where the bite mark is.
"Scott, what have you done?" I look at him. Scott looks back at Liam. What do we do now?
