It's been 10 hours and no one has surfaced up from their ice bath. I fell asleep for 2 hours up against Stiles and Scott's tub. Lydia did a bunch of makeup check even though she didn't go anywhere. Deaton checked the temperature of the water here and there as we filled more ice into the tubs. Isaac stared down at Allison's tub not taking his eyes off her. Figures. I couldn't stay mad at him because he liked another girl. He did me a favor instead of cheating he broke up with me. I'll respect him for that one. Allison has nothing to do with this. I have no hatred toward her. I mean she did break up with Scott and said they were taking a break. I'm not really hurt because of the break up. I'm hurt because I've been hurt too much and it's taking a toll on me.
"Im gonna go on a food run. Who wants something?" I asked standing up.
"I'll come with." Lydia says.
"No, you need to stay here. Just in case they surface. You have to stay with them." Deaton says. Lydia sits back down.
"Well, you guys need food. You can't survive off of Sunny D and nutri-grain bars no matter how much longer they will stay in those tubs." I shake my head. After getting their orders to the cheapest fast food restaurant and I drove myself there using Lydia scar. I grab the food and drive back to the Animal Clinic. Once I get back to the Animal Clinic, I started walking into it until I felt someone following me. I sat the food down gently at the door and knock twice. I turn around and put a shield behind me as I see Ms. Blake standing in front. It was starting to get dark outside. So no one could see us.
"Don't you think you've had enough people?" I asked her.
"I just need one more. Just one. You." She smirks.
"Me?" I asked taken back. Isaac opens the door to the animal clinic noticing Ms. Blake and I. He tries to get past the shield but couldn't.
"Why me?" I ask her.
"Your a guardian. See Alexis, you've got your whole abilities thing wrong. You have so much power flowing through your veins you could take over as president. You can do anything you want. But you sit here, you go to school. You act like a teenager a normal human being. Who does that?" She circles me.
"Obviously me." I mutter.
"Yeah, I can see that." She looks me up and down and stands still in front of me.
"So you're not going to go down without a fight are you?" I raise my hands up glowing my purple eyes.
"Not a chance." I tell her.
"Well, you could at least do a fair fight." I brought back with a crooked smile. I put my hands down as my eyes go back to normal.
"That's more like it." She smirks.
She steps forward to punch me but I duck just in time and punch Ms. Blake straight in the nose, breaking it easily. She lunged at me again but I duck and sweep her off her feet, she fell to the floor. She does a side sweep as I jump to dodge it but her other legs catches me off. I hit the concrete ground as she crawls on top of me and beats her fist into my head. She hits me a couple of times but my strength over powers hers. I hit her hard in the ribs. Until I felt sharp pain and my abdomen. I look down and see her holding a blade inside me. I could feel the blood draining out of my body.
"Alexis!" Isaac yells as he tries to get past the shield. I didn't want Ms. Blake interrupting the ice bath. She could ruin the whole thing. All 11 hours of not breathing.
"I guess, I won." Ms. Blake whispers in my ear as she pulls the knife out of me. I fall onto the concrete and see darkness.
