The three of us sit on the bench as we watch the players take the field.
"Your dad coming?"
"Yeah, he's already here." Stiles points to the bleachers sitting next to Isabella and mama McCall.
"So is Bella." I sighed.
"You seen Allison?" Scott asked us.
"No."
"No, you seen Lydia?" Stiles asked. Of course.
"Not yet." Scott says.
"She'll be here. She always comes." I roll my eyes but it wasn't sarcastic roll. It was a hope she doesn't or the kanima might kill her roll.
"You know what's going on?"
"Not yet." Scott sighs.
"It's going to be bad, isn't it? I mean, like people screaming, running for their lives, blood, killing, maiming kind of bad?" Stiles asked.
"Looks like it." Scott nods his head.
"I can't imagine it not to be." I mumbled.
"Scott, Lexy, the other night seeing my dad get hit over the head by Matt, you know, while I'm just lying there and I can't even move, it just - I want to help, you know, but I can't do the things that you guys can do. I can't." Stiles stutters over his words. I reach over Scott and rub Stiles back.
"It's okay." Scott tells him.
"Even the way we are. The things we can do, its still not enough." I tell him.
"We're losing, dudes." Stiles shakes his head.
"The hell are you talking about? Game hasn't even started. Now put on your helmet and get out there. You're in for Greenberg." Coach says. I didn't even realize he was behind us.
"What? What happened to Greenberg?" Stiles asked.
"What happened to Greenberg? He sucks. You suck slightly less." Coach compares the two.
"I'm playing? On the field? With the team?" Stiles exclaimed.
"Yes, unless you'd rather play with yourself."
"Gross coach." I grimace at him.
"I already did that today, twice." Stiles confesses.
"Stiles. TMI." I close my eyes.
"Get the hell out there!" Coach yells as Stiles scrambles to his feet and grabs his equipment.
"There goes our little Stiles." I look at Scott as he smiles. We look like proud parents. But not as proud as the sheriff was. I could hear him shouting my son's on the field really loud. I chuckle as Scott laughs along. He stopped laughing for a second as his eyes dirt beside me. He stares at the ground and turns his head slightly to the right. I look out of the corner of my eyes and see Gerard talking. He was talking too quietly for me to hear but I could tell that he was doing it for Scott. Scott held an angry facial expression as I grabbed his arm.
"What is it?" I asked quietly.
"Gerard. He says if we don't get Derek to him Jackson's going to kill someone when the clock counts down to 30. He's threatened everyone." Scott shook with anger. I rub his arm up and down. I would take Gerard out right now but I couldn't. Not with all the people here.
"What would he want with Derek?" I asked.
"Revenge." Scott says calmly. For Kate.
The whistle blows as Stiles catches the ball. He stand there for two seconds proud and confused then get tackled to the ground. At least he was catching them. Stiles scopes up the ball and gets tackled again.
"Ooh. Thats gonna hurt." I grit my teeth at the impact of the ball hitting his helmet. The referee blows the whistle as Scott stands up. Coach shoved him to the bench.
"Sit down, McCall." Coach tells him.
"But, coach, we're dying out there." Scott exclaimed.
"Oh, I'm aware of that. Now sit." Coach pounds of Scott's chest.
"Coach, please. I advise you to put him in. We'll win." I nod my head and smile at coach.
"I advise you to zip it." Coach says back as I shut my mouth.
"Well then." I mutter. Someone sits in between Scott and I as I feel a pair of lips on mine. I open my eyes wide shocked and confused. It was Isaac.
"Told you I see you around." Isaac says when he pulled away.
"I think it was the other way around." I smile at him. Um, what just happened? He kissed me and wow. Um. Ok.
"You came to help." Scott asked. He looked happy yet he panicked.
"I came to win and for her." Isaac nods his head to me. I hit his arm playfully. Gerard looks over at us. Noting another werewolf has joined us. He didn't look to happy.
"Lexy, how big of a shield can you make?" Scott looks at me. I actually don't know.
"I've only done it for three people and myself." I think.
"Can you put it around the bleachers? Protect the people. If we can protect the players and you can take care of the bleachers, it's a start." I nod my head and look at the bleachers. A small shield was getting larger.
"You got a plan yet?" Isaac looks at Scott.
"No, right now it's pretty much just keep Jackson from killing anyone." Scott says as I nod my head.
"Well, that might be easier if you're actually in the game." Isaac says.
"Coach won't play him." I tell him.
"We have to make it so coach has no choice but to play you." Isaac says back.
"How do we do that? He's got a bench full of guys he can use before he ever puts me on the field." We look over at coach and see the players sitting next to him.
"Can you do it without putting anyone in the hospital?" Scott asked Isaac. Oh god.
"I can try." Isaac puts his helmet on and gets onto the field.
"I've got a shield covering the entire bleachers." I tell Scott as he nods his head. The whistle blows as Isaac takes out one of our players.
"Lahey! Ramirez! You're in." Coach yells. Isaac takes another player out as the whistle goes off.
"Murphy. You're in." Coach says annoyed. Isaac takes a few more players out and a lot of whistle noises were made.
"Lahey! Seriously, what the hell is your problem?" Coach points his finger at Isaac. He shrugs his shoulders and held a playful grin. The whistle blows as Isaac went to take out another player Jackson comes running up and tackles Isaac. Isaac falls to the ground.
