Helicopter

Sorry I didn't update my wifi isn't really working well. Enjoy.

**Prim's Point of View**

I listen to Justin's soft voice singing songs from his believe album and try to fall asleep.

The rain pounds on the roof top of the car, thunder crashes, lightning flashes through the sky.

Justin sings the chorus of All Around The World but stops when thunder shakes the car.

"J-Justin." I cry into his arms.

"Shh, baby it's alright. We'll be ok." Justin says, "I'll text Scooter and Meajor."

I nod my head and lay it on his chest. I feel the blanket get pulled over my head so I can't see the lightning.

I've had the worst experience with thunder storms and Justin knows that. My parents wouldn't comfort me when they came. They'd leave me alone. I'd bang on their door and they'd tell me to go away. I'd sit in my room crying, scared to death.

"Baby, are you ok?" Justin asks.

I slowly nod my head, wincing as thunder clasps. Justin quickly grabs two remotes and presses a button on one.

Screens comes up and cover most of the windows. Justin hits the other remote and a tv comes down. He flicks on a channel and sponge bob comes on.

I lay, wrapped in Justin's strong arms, scared for my life. The car shakes and I grab hold of Justin's shirt.

"Here, put these on." Justin says.

I look down and see he's holding wireless, noise cancellation beats. I put them in and hear the sponge bob episode through them.

Justin picks up his phone and I see him dial 9-1-1. He talks to them for a couple minutes and takes off my head phones to tell me something.

"Ok princess. Can you be strong for me?" he asks and I nod my head, "Good. A helicopter is coming to get us. We have to go in the roof of my car so they can reel down the ladder for us."

My eyes go wide. I can't do that. My breathing speeds up. Justin tries to calm me down but the thunder and lightning make it worse.

It's been 15 minutes and nothing has happened except the terrifying storms, Justin kissing me over and over again telling me everything is alright.

Part of me wants to believe him but other parts tell me everything is not alright.

I feel my phone buzz and I look down and see its Meajor.

don't worry Prim, I just got an alert the storm is slowing down. see you soon.

I hear the rain start to slow down but the thunder is still as bad. Justin sits up and looks out the window in the roof of his car.

"They're here." he says, "Come on princess, we need to leave"

I nod and go over to Justin. He opens the top window and helps get me out. I hold onto the top of the car while Justin comes onto the roof.

The ladder comes down and Justin holds onto it.

"Princess, I need you to step on the ladder. Go up about 10 rungs and stop. I need to get on also. The helicopter will pull us both up. You don't have to climb anymore."

I nod and grab hold of the ladder. I start to climb up the rings and count each time.

Justin gets on after and he rests his head on my back. The ladder starts to go up and j scream for Justin.

I land in the helicopter and a guys gives me a blanket. Justin gets on after me and thanks the pilot for getting us.

I look out the window. Bad decision. Lightning comes close to us and I nscream. Tears stream down my face and Justin holds me in his lap.

"Don't cry. We will be alright. See were safe now. Our car was much more dangerous."

I nod my head and play with the charm bracelet Justin got me. I lay my head at the base of Justin's neck and try to calm my breaking.

"I'm sorry for putting you through this"
