**Justin's Point of View**

I hear a knock and clicks of heels coming into my room. I open my eyes and squint at the bright lights.

"Justin, your mom is here."

"My mom?"

"Mhm, she's outside."

"Why would she want to see me?" I ask.

"Because she loves you. Can I go get her?" the doctor asks.

I nod my head and a couple seconds later my mom comes in.

"Mom! I hurt her! I'm such a bad person! She'll never love me again." I say.

My mom sits on the side of my bed and holds my hand in hers.

"Yes she will honey. I know she will. Prim is one the most forgiving person I know. She loves you almost as much as I do." my mom says.

"What's wrong with me? No one treats me normal anymore." I say.

"Well, your moods have been changing a lot recently." she says.

"What is that supposed to mean?" I yell.

"Honey calm down!" my mom says, "Come on, lets go to the pond. I have to get your wheelchair first."

My mom wheels me down the hallway and we go down the elevator. We get to the pond and I look at the water and see my reflection.

Who am I anymore? I can't tell no more.

"You ok?"

"I guess."

"You can tell me anything. I am a good listener." my mom says.

She comes over and kneels down next to me. Mom picks up my hand and kisses the back of it.

"Mom, I'm scared."

"Of what honey?"

"That Prim won't love me. I've hurt her so many times. I don't want her to be in pain. What if she's scared to be with me now after what I've done to her." I say.

"Justin, you can't think like that. Prim will love you no matter what. I know that. She's stuck with you through so many things. No matter what she will love you for you."

**Prim's Point of View**

I lay on my bed and stare at the ceiling. I hear footsteps on the floor and I look back.

"Mom?" I say totally shocked.

"Hello Prim."

"Wh-What are you doing here."

"I've come to talk to you about something" she says.

I nod and she sits down in one of the chairs provided to visitors.

"Your father and I don't want to take care of you anymore." she says, "So we've put you up for adoption."

"What?" I yell, "I'm 19! You can't be 19 and be in an orphanage. I'm old enough to look after myself."

"And look how that's gone! You're in the hospital!"

"Why did you put me up for adoption?"

"Because it's what's best. You'll be going there after you are released from the hospital."

"No! You can't make me! I'm old enough. Please don't do this."

"It's final. You will be going there."
