That was a nice surprise. Kaiden's back. She's pulling off that short her very well. Asul na asul pa din ang mga mata niya and her look, she looks so mature now. Epekto aiguro ng New York escapades niya. Hindi na siya tulad ng vulnerable and cheerful Kaiden that I met in DesTESny, she looks more reserved and sophisticated.

Pagkapasok ko sa building ng VGC, nakilala agad ako ng receptionist. She told me that Eric was on the top floor na, sa penthouse.

I took an elevator and pushed the 15th floor( The Penthouse). Agad naman akong sinalubong ni Eric na nakapambahay lang. " I thought hindi ka makakapunta. Pasensya na naistorbo pa kita."

" No, you're alright. Free naman ako. Bakit ka nga pala napatawag?"

" Well, it's about Kaiden.." , he gave a beer and sat on the sofa. " She's back."

" Yeah. I saw her bago ako magpark. Para siyang nagmamadali."

" Oh that was quick. So yeah, she's back for good. Balak niyang palitan ang position ng Mama niya sa fashion industry after years of studying in Milan and NYU."

" So, anong connect?", I joked.

" Ang connection between VGC and her company is very important, Ryder. Luciana's would be our biggest and most famous client this year and I don't want you to miss that."

" What? Ako? Pero I don't even know Kaiden and Luciana's. Pwede bang--"

" You can do it. Just take some time off with Kaiden, kung kailangan. Get to know her, get to know the company. Siguro naman hindi ka mahihirapan since you are as adventurous as she is, di ba? And besides, THEY ARE THE BEST, they deserve nothing than the best. So Ryder, ihanda mo na sarili mo." I felt an arrow hit right through my heart when I heard that. That would also mean that I won't be with Bianca all the time. Knowing Kaiden before, she is keen to details and she is really an adventurous girl. She loves to party as well. Walang party na hindi yan inattendan. Her face is in every fashion magazine. She is the epitome of an elite woman.

I breathed heavily and took out a heavy sigh as well. " Kakayanin."

" Good! Now we're settled! Oh by the way, kamusta na kayo ni Bianca? Is she really doing fine after Denise's wedding a couple of years ago?"

" Yeah. She's doing great. Nagbalik na mga alaala niya. "

" That's great. Well, let her know that I need to see her soon, the advertisement that you did with her two years ago was still one of the greatest ads in the Philippines ha! I need to see the endorser kamo. Hahaha!"

After having a small talk in his penthouse, umalis na kaagad ako. Pagpasok ko sa kotse, saka naman may tumawag.

" Hey Ryder. This is me Kaiden. Just save my number and I supposed Eric already told you about my offer noh? See you around."

Then the call ended. Mukhang nagmamadali siya eh. Her life is like a race, laging mabilis, laging fast-paced. She always think of her future, she always think of what's best for her company. I just can't believe na after two years, I would get to work with someone like her.

This project must be worth our wait.

I put my phone inside my pocket while taking a sip of my frappe. Grabe! Isang linggo na pero undecided pa rin si Kaiden sa kung ano ang gagawin sa advertisement niya.

" Sir, pang-twentienth ad proposal na po namin ito sa kanya, wala pa rin po siyang nakukuha. Hanggang one hundred choices po yata gusto niya eh!", sabi ng isang artist na katapat ko.

Nasa Arts department ako and everyone were ao busy. All week na silang nagbi-briefing at nagbe-brainstorm kung ano ang papatok sa taste ni Kaiden. But unfortunately, everytime they present it, umaayaw kaagad siya.

" Sir, gusto ko na makaranas ng totoong tulog. Maaea naman kayo sa amin.", sabi ng isa pang artist.

" Kaya natin ito."

" Sir naman..", they said in unison. I sighed. Kaya pa nga ba namin ito? Ano pa ba kailangan naming gawin? The advertisement is set to air after 3 months!

" Ako bahala. I'll call her." So I did, I called her. Madaming segundo pa lumipas bago niya ito sinagot. She sounded like she just had her gym session.

" Yes? Hello?"

" Are you available tonight?"

" Oh... yes! Why?"

" Coffee tayo. I need to talk to you about your suggestions regarding our proposed advertisements. Let's meet up at Starbucks.", I said.

" No thank you. Bar na lang tayo! Dali! There is this new band na magcocover ng kanta ng Sud!", she said cheerfully.

I looked at my schedule and the night time was free so I agreed.

Kung hindi makuha sa santong dasalan, daanin sa santong paspasan!
