Ray POV

"What the hell is he doing talking to my girl for?" I demanded answers. Craig told me earlier how in his dance class, which he shared with Tyra, one of the Arias brothers was rummaging through Tyra's bag before engaging in a conversation with her.

By the looks of it, he said, she was pretty scared afterwards.

I swear if he threatened her, I'm killing all of the MSFTS. Okay, so me and Tyra aren't official, but I plan on changing that soon. Besides, we talk, and talking with a girl is basically us going out so that means that we're going out...not literally but we're still dating in my own words.

"Did you talk to her?" I asked.

Craig shook his head and scratched the back of his neck, something he does when he feels nervous or guilty. He had a reason to be guilty. Ever since I started feelin' Tyra, I made sure it was clear that we looked after her and protected her if there were to be any problems. I wasn't kidding when I said she was to be looked over and protected by the MSFTS. They knew that.

"Why not?" I was extremely frustrated with Craig at this point for not giving me the answers I wanted.

"Because I had class and Moises had left by the time I began making my way to her?" His statement sounded more like a question more than an answer.

"I'll handle you later. Right now, I'm going to go kill a MSFT."

Craig grabbed my arm and pulled me back. I turned to him with pure rage and glared dangerously at him. At the moment, I was almost as mad at him than at Moises.

"What do you want?" I hissed.

He trembled a little before standing his ground.

"You just got back from suspension for fighting Mateo. I don't think it'd be a good idea to get into another fight just yet."

Although what he was saying was a hundred percent true, I don't think I have enough fucks in my body to give at the moment.

"Sorry, Craig, but I don't think I care about Brown being on my ass."

Craig sighed and ran his fingers through his short, curly hair. He opened his mouth to object my idea but soon decided against it.

"I'm going to class. See you later." he said before walking the opposite way down the hall.

"So, uh, you wanna chill later today?" I said with a smile.

I noticed Tyra blush and look down insecurely. I liked having that affect on her. It showed how nervous she was around me. I could tell by how she acted that she liked me and just knowing that made me smile.

"Definitely." she smiled.

"Great. So, uh, after your cheerleading practice, I'll be waiting in the lot for you, cool?" I suggested.

She nodded and smiled. "Or you could just watch us. They let people sit in to wait. Besides, it's raining later and I don't want you to wait in the rain."

I chuckled and nodded. "Sure thang, something-that-ends-with-ang." Damn, I'm corny.

"Huh?" she said with a slight chuckle.

"I dunno. Don't blame me. I'm a cornball." I shrugged and scratched my neck.

"I know that already." She reassured.

Just then, the fire bell rang and kids from all directions came running down the hall. It was loud and deafening- the shouts and hollers that were heard.
