Sleeping with a Stranger?

Luckily, his hotel was next door, so she didn't have far to go.  With respect to the hand resting at the small of her back, he didn't make a move to touch her otherwise.  Maybe he just wasn't one for public displays of affection or in their case, public displays of lust.  But now that they were in the elevator, alone, that excuse didn't hold water.

And where was he? Nowhere near her.

Kyra wanted to feel his hands on her again and she didn't wish to wait. He repeated that he wanted her in his bed, but he also told her he had plans for her first, though he wouldn't elaborate.  Ignoring his 'plans', she took but one step in his direction and his eyebrow rose, then he wagged a finger.  At her!

"Princess, you do not listen do you? Told you, first things first."

Poised to tell him exactly where he could shove that finger, she was interrupted by the sound announcing his floor.  The door slid open and he pointed her in the right direction, thankfully a short walk, because her patience with this man was thinning quickly.  Producing the key card for his room, he inserted it into the slot as he placed his hand at the small of her back once again.  With the door open, he motioned for her to go first.

She walked in, quickly glancing around the cozy setting. It was more like an apartment than a hotel room, which made her wonder how long of a layover he had  There was a living area, fireplace, and a separate bedroom off to the side, which was where he led her to next.  Getting warmer, she thought, her heart rate speeding up.  They walked right next to the bed and then completely bypassed it, that damn hand of his exerting just enough pressure to urge her on to the bathroom where he turned on the shower and dimmed the lights.

"Get warmed up," he told her.

He tugged off his shirt, soaked from being pressed against her, and headed back to the living area, departing so quickly she didn't even get a chance to have a good look at him.

"Wha-?"  Stupefied, she leaned back against the wall and stared at the door leading to the living area. "What the hell just happened?"

She was confused and shocked when he left her, but didn't follow.  The last thing she wanted was to appear desperate or god forbid have him wag that finger in her face again.

"Get the feeling when he gives an order he expects it to be followed."

Suddenly irritated with herself, her rebellious side woke up. "Wait! Since when did I become so fucking obedient?" She just stood there, contemplating what to do as she noisily tapped her foot on the tile floor. "Let him have his way - for now.  Besides, I am a little cold and those suds from the club aren't exactly fragrant."

She stripped out of her wet clothes, which was easier said than done considering her pants were leather.  The water being not quite hot enough for her taste, she adjusted it before stepping in, then let the warm water do its work, soaking her hair and skin until the chill was chased away. That was enough time for her mind to wander, contemplating what this connection was that she felt to him. There was something more there than simply lust, at least for her.  She just couldn't put her finger on it. Filing it away for later, she grabbed his soap and inhaled the fragrance, finding it surprisingly familiar.

"Mmm...so this is what I smelled. Knew he wasn't a cologne type of guy.  Smells like...sandalwood?  Damn, that brings back some memories.  Haven't smelled that in forever since-."  And she wanted to kick herself in the ass for who the soap made her think of, too.  He was her past and that was that.

Satisfied that he was out of range of her hearing, he finally allowed himself to smile and chuckle a bit at how frustrated he was making her.  He knew she had expected something entirely different out of him.  Being honest with himself, so had he.  Before he kissed her in that club, his entire plan was to bring her back to his room, fuck her senseless, and then most likely cut fences.  At some point, between the time he pinned her to the wall and when he broke free of her kiss, an element had changed. Not the part about fucking her or taking his time - those were absolutes.  It was his whole...approach.
