Chapter 10

Jade

Did not see that coming.

"Ahem." I cleared my throat and they pulled apart. 

"Oh um Jade girls..we um we just-"

"Were hugging." I finished for him. I'm not mad that they were hugging. I'm mad that Harry had moved on with the first girl that came his way instead of looking out for someone who is actually very sweet and caring.

"Um yeah." He shrugged. 

"We're going on a date tomorrow. Thanks, Jade." She smirked at me. I rolled my eyes at her stupidity.

 "That's nice. Well we're just going off." Said Leigh pointing to our cars. 

"Alright." Nodded Harry. 

"Oh wait. Um we are having a little mini party just for fun tomorrow instead of your practice. There will also be karaoke." He said in one breath.

 Each of the girls looked at each other and we mentally agreed. "We'll go." I smiled.

"Great well bye." He grinned.

"Bye guys!" Cher's overky excited voice rang out.

I waved at them and we all headed home.

"Who knew huh." Shrugged Jesy. 

"Right." I said to them in an exaggerating tone. We were all having breakfast at my place. Today was the day of the party the boys were throwing and we were all very excited to see how a One Direction party was thrown. 

"Hey guys, we should do the karaoke. You know besides Janelle who hates singing." Said Perrie glaring at Janelle.

"Not my fault. I don't have a great voice." She retorted.

 "We should. How about Word up." I suggested.

"Yeah." They all agreed.

I nodded and continued eating along with the other girls.

When we got to the party it was packed. The girls and I immediately went to the dance floor and got wild. Well except Perrie. She was in a heavy makeout session with the oh so fabulous Zayn Malik.

"Care to dance?" I heard behind me. I turned around and saw a guy about my age holding out his hand. "Sure." I smiled.

We both started dancing to the horrible dubstep remix of the latest Katy Perry song. Through out the entire time we spent laughing at each other's horrible moves.

"Wanna get a drink?" He asked.

"Yeah." I nodded. 

At the bar, I ordered a regular cocktail and he ordered the same. "So tell me about yourself." 

"Okay.. what exactly do you want to know?" I asked him.

He shrugged. "Basics. Your name, age, birthday, where you're from what you do."

"Well, I'm Jade Thirlwall, I'm twenty two, born on December 26th. I'm a dancer and currently working with One Direction for their upcoming tour."

His eyes widened. "Really?"

I nodded as I sipped on my drink, trying not to spit it out due to his reaction. "That's amazing. You must be really talented."

I nodded and set my drink down beside me on the bar. "What about you?"

"I'm Joshua, I'm twenty three born on November sixth and I am currently in Uni studying to become a business owner."

"Really?" I asked in surprise.

"Yeah. My dad has an enterprise and he'd like me to take over one day. Usually with things like these, the child or whatever wouldn't want to, for the sake of not feeling in total control and it not being something they wanna do, but I for one am excited to take over one day. It'd be great."

I nodded and we kept on chatting over the loud music.

"Karaoke time." Called out the DJ. I turned to find the other girls. They all stood by each other near the stage and gave me a nod.

"Gotta go. Me and my friends are singing. I'll meet you here after. Watch my drink." I told Joshua.

I walked up to the stage with the other girls and we gave the man the cd. He handed us the microphone and nodded signalling we should start.

All: W-O-R-D we're coming up

K-k-k-k-keep it keep it

 So do your dance do your dance quick

Mama come on baby tell me what's the word

When we finished the whole crowd started cheering. 

"Thank you." I said into the mic. I handed it back to the DJ and we all walked off stage and back to where we previously were.

"Wow you were amazing." Said Joshua as I walked up to the bar stool. I sat down and took a long sip of my drink. 

"Thank you." I smiled.

I looked at the corner of my eye and saw Harry starring at us intently with a mean look in his eyes. I shook my head and turned back to Joshua.

Throughout the whole night, we joked around and danced. It was very fun to hang out with him. He seems like such a great guy.

I definitely see something happening.
