Chapter 39

-Leigh's P.O.V.-

Today is the day that Jade comes back. We were at the stadium and we have a huge welcome back sign hanging from one side to the other. A bit of confetti is on the floor and we have a couple of her favorite deserts at a snack table.

"Okay guys she's here." Breathed Liam as he ran back to us.

We waited for a couple of minutes and we soon saw Jade step up in front of us. "Welcome back!" We all shouted. Jade looked shocked and had a smile on her face.

"Wow." She said. We all laughed and went to her for a hug. "We missed you." I muttered in her ear. "I mised you guys too." She replied.

I let go and we all just started up a conversation.

-Jade's P.O.V.-

"Hey Jade, can I talk to you?" I looked up and saw Cher. I looked at the others before nodding. I got up and followed her to the snack table. "What do you want?"

"Listen, I really want to apologize for my behavior. I know I was rude to you and very disrespectful but please forgive me. I beg of you." She had her hands clasped together. I looked into her eyes for any sign of falseness. Nothing.

"I know Cher. I won't forgive you completely." I told her. She smiled at me and embraced me in a hug. It was a bit awkward but I just wrapped my arms around her and returned the hug. We let go and walkde back to the others.

"Friends?" Asked Perrie.

Cher and I looked at each other and shrugged. "Eh."

They all just laughed. I saw Harry staring at me and I walked over to him. "Explain Harry."

He looked down at first as if he had no idea what to say before he finally spoke, "My feelings for you are getting stronger than ever Jade. I'm in love with you and I wanted you to know that. I wanted you to know that I have never stopped thinking about you. When you left, I felt so bad. I literally cried myself to sleep because you weren't here and I knew you hated me. I couldn't live with that."

Harry's eyes were a bit glossy but he blinked it away. I sighed and looked away before turning back.

"Harry, I told you many times before. You have to find someone new. You can't keep staying for me. You have to move on and find a girl who is interested in you and who you're interested in. I don't like you in that way. I've told you. Please try to forget the feelings. Please." I finshed. I know that I am breaking his heart at the seems, but it had to be told.

I can't keep him having feelings for me. It all has to go away. I don't like him in that way and I don't think I ever will.

"Don't you understand? These feelings are too strong to let go."

"Harry-"

"No Jade listen. Please, I love you. I want you to know that. I really do. I won't let you go." Harry looked determined, but I was just getting tired of this.

"Harry understand. I don't love you that way. Go out and find someone new. Go look for that one girl who you know is the one and will actually love you back the way you want. I'll look for someone with you, just please. Do this for me." I begged him.

He looked away for a while, sniffling and letting a few tears go. He nodded, "Alright. For you, I'll look for someone else."

I smiled at him and gave him a hug.

"Thank you."

A/N Okay, so you probably hate me for doing this to you, but understand. Not every story is the same where the girl does end up falling for the guy. My stories are very different. A few more chapters left before I am finished with this story.
