"Do you ever miss Starling?" Barry asks as we sit on my living room couch with hot chocolate I our hands. I decided to actually have a genuine talk with Barry.

"Sometimes yes," I answer. "Sometimes, no."

"I don't mean to pry, but what happened to you in Starling City?" Barry asks. "Oliver threatened to tell me something, what was it?"

"Um..." I trace the top of my mug. "About a week before I moved here, my mother was murdered."

"Oh, my god. How did it happen? Are you okay?" Barry asks with sincerity in his voice.

Tears start forming in my eyes, "The Count had broken out of jail, and he put a different version Vertigo in the vaccinations people thought was a flu shot. Sadly, Dig went to that place to get a flu shot, but ended up with the other Vertigo in his veins. Once Oliver and I found out, we went investigating, without Diggle, I didn't even bother calling my mother to see if she was okay. After Oliver had...dealt with the Count, I went home to get some rest. The next day, the police were at my door with sadness in their eyes, my mother actually went to the Count to get the original Vertigo to help with the body cravings." Tears start rolling down both cheeks, "Her body has an allergic reaction to it and dropped dead five minutes after they gave her the original Vertigo. The police found her body outside of the warehouse."

"Oh, Riley," Barry breathes out as he wraps his arms around me and I let out a sob.

"After that, I was infuriated with Oliver. I wanted to be the one to drive my sword through his heart. Thankfully, Oliver talked some sense into me and convinced me that I needed a break from Starling City and the heartache it had given me. So I moved here and you pretty much know the rest," I explain, wiping the tears that slid down my face.

"So that's what Roy and Oliver were taking about when you were in kill mode?" Barry asks, making me let out a small laugh.

"Yeah," I answer. "When I looked at Markos, all I saw was that night all over again. How I had no control over my mother's life, I let my anger control my judgment. Something I hate doing."

"Kinda like how I was with Bivalo," Barry explains with his head gaming low in shame.

"Hey," I lift his head up with my hand. "That wasn't your fault, I know that now. I'm sorry for blaming you before, once again, emotions are all haywire."

There is a long, comfortable silence as we both stare into each other's eyes. Slowly, Barry starts leaning in. Closer. And closer. Until our lips our lightly brushing against each other, I know he's waiting for me to pull away or slap him...but I lean closer and our lips crash into each other. Barry's tongue asks for entrance and I happily open my mouth slightly.

I pull away to gasp for air and Barry breaths out, "That was..."

"It was..." I trail off at a loss of words. This never happens I'm a writer for God's sake! I'm supposed to know what to say!

"Amazing," Barry states, breathlessly.

"Yeah, amazing," I agree, brushing my fingers through my hair, nervously.

"C-can..." Barry blushes, but tries to hide it, "can I kiss you again?"

I give him a small smile and peck his lips softly, "Does that answer your question, Barry Allen?"

Barry nods, "Pretty much, Riley Miller."

Barry puts his hands on the side of my torso and kisses me passionately, taking things slow. I start, slowly, lying on my back.

Oh, god. I have so fallen for the Barry Allen, what am I going to do? Screw it, life's too short to question everything. I trust Barry and he would never hurt me, nothing is holding me back.

Barry and I have a night of passion and love, not regretting a thing. I hope everything turns out good in the end.

I know it's shorter, but I had to publish something. Plus, you can't really follow up the ending. Hope you liked it!

Until next time! This is C.C. over and out.
