I probably should have done this at the start of the book but it I hadn't given much thought until reading another person's fanfic. Apparently the writer of said fanfic was sick of stories being told from a white person's perspective so that got me thinking I should probably clarify a few things before going any further.

For the sake of equality and being unbiased I don't specify race or ethnicity in these one-shots. I don't have anything against it, it just makes it easier for me to write. I also believe this way, readers will have an easier time imagining themselves in these stories. They can fantasize about being with these characters and not worry about being discriminated. I may not be a people person but I do genuinely advocate diversity, something we should all consider advocating for during times such as these (Feel free to interpret that last statement anyway you want it doesn't matter to me).

If any of you are curious about my racial/ethnic background I'll simply yet proudly state I'm half Latina.
