I finally managed to think up a one-shot that isn't headcannon inspired. Peter and the reader are still in high school, but the reader is two years older than Peter. Cute fluff; may get steamy in one part.

One more thing. This is a tad bit belated but I now have over 3000 views.

It was around 5 in the afternoon when you heard a knock at your door.  You check your phone, assuming he was actually on time. You open the door and sure enough, Peter was standing on the opposite side of the door. "Hey (y/n)," he greets happily. "Hey, Peter," you greet back, "Looks like you actually decided to show up right on time this time. Almost thought you didn't really care about your grades." "Sorry," he said, "But you know how traffic is around this time of the day." "Peter, you don't even drive," you fold your arms across your chest. "That's how bad it is," he says walking inside, handing  you the check so you and him could begin the tutoring session.

You were two grades above Peter and there were some concepts he was having trouble grasping in one of his classes. Since your parents are good friends with Aunt May, and this was a class you had taken before, they suggested to her that you help Peter during little tutor sessions after school. You were a little reluctant at first but only agreed when May offered to pay for the sessions.

The sessions usually lasted about an hour and overtime, you and Peter got to know each other better. If you were being honest though, it could be argued that maybe you were starting to develop feelings for this guy as each session progressed. There was no denying he was attractive, sweet, caring, and smart; qualities that seemed difficult to find in men these days; especially in guys your age. You didn't really pay attention to these feelings though; not until the last tutor session. That day you and him held the session at his place. When you walked into his bedroom, he was right in the middle of changing shirts. You had closed the door right away when you saw him all shirtless.

You blushed a little from the flashback, remembering you never thought a nerdy kid like that could have a six back underneath his sweaters. As Peter got his books out of his backpack, you stared at him a little, going back to the flashback again. You quickly shook yourself out of your trance the moment he turned to face you. "Okay, Peter, you ready?" you ask, trying to get your mind off that flustering, yet strangely pleasant memory. "As ready as I'll ever be," he replies. "Good," you say sitting on the sofa, Peter following suit, "What trouble are you having this time?"

As the session progressed, the pleasant memory kept invading your mind every so often. You did your best to stay focused, but every time you looked at Peter during conversation, you kept imagining what he looked like with his shirt off. After what felt like forever the hour was up, and Peter had left your place.

Later that night, before you fully fell asleep, you started to consider maybe you were developing a crush on Peter. It didn't seem right though, and you weren't sure if it was because you're his tutor or the fact that he was two years younger than you. It wouldn't have seem so big a deal if it was the other way around; at least by society's standards it would. You exasperated at the cruelty of the concept; why does there have to be double standards about this sort of thing. You also began to wonder if Peter felt the same about you. What if he didn't and you confess to him that you had feelings for him? What would happen then? Would things get weird between the two of you? Weirder then if this was the other way around?

The next day the tutor session was at Peter's place. You and him had the place to yourself since Aunt May was off running errands. After the session concluded you felt your stomach rumble. "You sound hungry," Peter chuckles. "Well, I may have skipped lunch today studying for exams," you admit. "Why don't you wait here, and I'll run to the store to grab some snacks and maybe a pizza?" he suggested. "I guess that would be okay," you reply. Peter wasted no time getting up and leaving to get some food.

While you waited for Peter to get back, you got bored and looked around his home. You eventually found yourself in his bedroom. It was a little messy, but that was sort of to be expected from most teenage boys. You notice some papers on the floor and picked them up. Upon closer inspection, you realized they were graded exams and homework assignments. They were completely flawless, no a single red mark anywhere. You started to wonder if Peter actually ever needed your help in the first place.

You heard the unlocking of the front door and knew Peter was home. You had just walked out of his bedroom by the time he came inside with a pizza box, a bag of Doritos, and a couple bottles of Pepsi and Dr. Pepper. "What were you doing in my room?" he frowns slightly. "I uh, I kinda got bored," you nervously reply, "Don't worry, though, I didn't look in any your closet or drawers or nothing." He shrugged it off and headed for the kitchen; it almost looked like he had breathed a collective sigh of relief for some reason. "I did notice some papers laying around though," you speak up. "Oh?" he says "Yeah," you further press, "They were graded assignments, and I recognized the concepts we've been going over. Not a single red mark anywhere."

Peter stopped what he was doing and nervously turned around. "Is there something you're not telling me, Parker?" you put your hands on your hips, "If you don't need these sessions anymore just say so. It is your aunt's money your spending here." "Okay," he takes a deep breath, raking his hand through his hair, "I did need help in the beginning but I haven't needed anymore help for a while now. It's just I really enjoy your company, and it seems stupid but I kinda sorta like you. I know you probably see me as just a kid, but it is the truth." "You...like me?" you say somewhat stunned. "Maybe a little?" he blushes, "Uh, is this going to mess up our friendship in anyway?"

You approach Peter. He seemed really scared at first, but it went away when you wrap your arms around him in a tight hug, followed by a kiss to the forehead. "I may have feelings for you too," you confess, "For the longest time I thought it was all in my head." "You've been having feelings for me?" Now it was Peter's turn to look stunned. "A little," you repeat his words, "Uh, it doesn't bother you then you would be dating a older woman?" "We're only two years apart, (y/n)," he chuckles. "Still, some people may not approve," you point out. "So what?" Peter asks, "To me, it doesn't change anything. If a girl can date an older guy, why can't a guy do the same with an older girl?" "Yeah, I never really understood that double standard at all," you agree.

You and Peter then sat down on the sofa, eating pizza, talking, then decided to watch a movie.  Half an hour into the movie, you fixed your attention on Peter; his attention to you was mutual. Before you knew it, the two of you were having a full-blown make out session on the sofa. Right as he got on top of you, the front door suddenly open. "Oh, sorry, I didn't realize (y/n) would still be here..or that you kids were busy," Aunt May says as she walks in. "It's fine, May," Peter assures all flustered, sitting back up, "(y/n) stayed for dinner and a movie."

You handed a cushion for Peter to place over his lap by the time Aunt May sat right in-between you two to watch the rest of the movie. "I always thought you two would be cute together," May whispers to you, followed by a wink in your direction.
