Jongin

Kyungsoo's food was delicious, even though he saved it just on time. It almost made me forget about me kissing him. I wondered if it was still considered a kiss if it only lasted for a second. I couldn't help myself. Feeling his smaller body pressed against mine, his big eyes looking up at me. It was just too much.

Maybe Xiumin was right. I did feel butterflies whenever he looked at me or when I took his hand. Does that sound too cliché?
It was the truth anyway.

After eating we sat down on the couch to watch a movie. I wanted to see one with Lee Byunghun in it, but he said no. I kept whining on about how those were the best movies that existed and how good they acted until he said, "fine, just put that damn thing in the player!" He raised his voice, but he didn't even sound annoyed with me.

I chose A Bittersweet Life and sat down on the couch again, closer to him than before. We both had our feet lifted onto the coffee table, knees pressed together. He seemed uncomfortable with the movie, but it was obvious he didn't want to show it.

When the film was almost at it's end his head tilted a bit to the right, eyes closed and lips slightly parted.
He was asleep.
I wondered how he managed that, since there were a lot of gunshots and the volume was quite loud.
I chuckled and shook my head at his adorable sleeping face.

I stood up to turn the tv off and then walked back to him. I carefully pulled his legs on the couch, waking him up. "Hmm," he said and looked at me with sleepy eyes. "Jongin?"

"Shhh." I took a blanket from the other couch and laid it on top of him. "Go back to sleep."

"Mmm," he murmured like he agreed with me and closed his eyes again. "Good... Night."

"Sleep well," I hesitated for a moment before stroking his hair. He looked so peaceful. "I'll be upstairs."
I didn't know if he had heard the last part, but it didn't matter.

I walked up the stairs and made myself ready for bed. I texted Baekhyun that Kyungsoo had fallen asleep on the couch and that he wouldn't go home.
I laid down on my bed and soon drifted off to sleep.

Kyungsoo

I woke up in an uncomfortable position and realised it was a couch. I sat up straight and stretched my aching body. Wait. This was Jongin's living room.
I swung my legs over the edge and stood up. I walked towards the stairs and decided to look for him.

I opened one of the doors in the small hallway and found the bathroom. The one next to it was a bedroom. In the middle of it was a bed, it's head pushed against the wall. And in the middle of the bed was Jongin. Still asleep.
I walked closer and noticed he was laying on his stomach, head turned to the right, breathing slowly.

I smiled at the sight and looked around the room. It was very clean and white, but the opposite wall was covered with random things. A map of the world with red and blue thumbtacks pricked on cities. Next to it were a few letters. I was about to look who they were from when I realized that would be a rude thing to do. This guy had his privacy.

"Kyungsoo?"

I looked back at the figure in the bed and saw he was awake. He rubbed his eyes in an attempt to get rid of the sleepyness.

"I'm sorry I woke you up," I apologized.

He yawned and stretched his arms. The movement lifted up his shirt and gave me a perfect view of his abs. "It's okay." His low morning voice send chills down my spine. "Did you sleep well?"

"It's was okay." I turned to face the wall again and pointed at the map. "Why those cities?"

He shrugged, "it's something I've done since I was a kid. The red ones are for the ones I've visited and the blue ones for those I want to visit."

"Wow," I said, pursing my lips. "There's a lot of red

"I always did it with my mother." His voice got softer. "It was a promise that we would go when we left dad."

His sad voice went straight to my heart. It was obvious his words had a whole story behind them, but I ignored it.
I walked closer to the bed, asking for permission with my eyes.
He shifted to give me more space and I sat down next to him. The sheets were still warm and it made me want to sleep again. Without thinking I pulled the sheets over our bodies and spread my arms, leaving the decision to hug me in his hands.

Jongin blinked a few times in surprise before wrapping his arms around my waist and placing his head on my shoulder. I buried my head in the crook of his neck and rubbed my nose against his shirt. He sighed and tightened his grip. I moved even closer and stroked his leg with my foot. I enjoyed the warmth of his body a lot and an approving sound escaped my lips.
We sat there for a long time until I heard Jongin's stomach growl. "What's your favorite breakfast?" I asked him.

"Waffles," he replied and I could feel him smiling against my shoulder, which made me think about his lips on mine yesterday.

"I'll make them for you. Do you wanna stay in bed? I'll call you when it's ready."

"I'll take a shower," he said, but didn't let go. "Just... Can we stay like this for a little bit longer?"

"Yes."
