Jongin
"Hey guys," Xiumin greeted us.
"Where have you been Xiu?" I asked him. I noticed Kyungsoo was still looking at me with an annoyed expression, but I ignored him. I'd deal with a jealous penguin later.
"A friend needed my help." His eyes drifted away from mine and landed on Kyungsoo. "I see you've found your way back."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Kyungsoo snapped.
"Calm down dude," Xiumin chuckled. "I didn't mean anything bad with it."
Kyungsoo murmured a "whatever" before grabbing his sketchbook off the table and heading upstairs.
"What's wrong with him?" Xiumin asked, looking at the door Kyungsoo just walked through.
"Just let him be." I sat down at the table. "You will be here tonight?"
"No, Jongin. I'll be staying with the same friend, but I'll come back tomorrow if you want." He sat down opposite from me. "We need to talk."
I thought it was weird how he kept saying 'friend' without a name. "About what?"
"Kyungsoo."
"If you are gonna accuse him again, I'm not interested." I said with a frown.
"No, it's not that." He shook his head. "My friend wants to help him."
"Whith what?" I licked my lips and looked him in the eyes. "What are you talking about?"
"Money." He folded his hands and leaned over the table. "He wants to borrow him the money."
"How do you know he needs money?" I asked in disbelief.
"My friend knows about it, don't ask me how."
"Why are you saying this to me and not to Kyungsoo himself?" I never liked to talk behind someone's back.
"Because he probably won't let someone help him." Xiumin explained. "Look, the day after tomorrow I'll take you both to him."
"I don't know. Why would someone help him?" I didn't want to sound harsh on him, but it was the truth.
"Because it's an old friend. He doesn't want Kyungsoo to know right now, so please don't tell him."
"I'll talk to him." I agreed after a long silence.
"Great. I'll leave you guys alone now. You probably had sex in the bed anyway." He pulled a face of disgust before laughing.
"Yah!" I squealed and felt my cheeks heating up by the thought of last night. "Shut up."
"I always say that too when I know that person is right." He chuckled and stood up. "I'll be visiting some friends today."
"Have fun."
Kyungsoo
I looked up from my sketchbook as Jongin opened the door. "Hey," he greeted before walking in. "What are you doing?"
"Drawing." I looked down again and continued to draw the wings of the angel. The dream I had this night still lingered in my mind.
My heart started beating faster as Jongin crawled over the bed towards me. "Can I see?"
Without waiting for my answer he laid his cheek against my left shoulder to look at what I was doing. "It's beautiful.""It was in my dream," I spoke softly.
"Who is it?" He asked and pointed at the person without a face.
"I don't know. It was like that in my dream." I turned my face and kissed the top of his head.
He chuckled softly before sitting up straight and looking at me with a serious expression. "I love you."
"I love you too Jongin."
"No, I mean like in whatever happens, I still love you." He explained. "Don't hide anything from me."
"Would you even love me if I killed someone?" I asked.
"I... I don't know." He answered honestly. "That's a hard one."
"I know." I looked down at the pencil in my hand and sighed. "It's okay."
"Xiumin knows someone that can help you." He suddenly spoke
"Huh?" I looked at him in surprise. "What do you mean?"
"Someone wants to borrow you money." He explained. "The day after tomorrow."
"How does he know?" There were like thousand questions in my head at the moment. "Why?"
"I don't know Kyungsoo." Jongin admitted with a sigh. "Do you wanna go there?"
"Maybe." I glanced back at the drawing and thickened the lines. "What do you think?"
"What's gonna happen if you don't have the money?" His voice was drenched in worry.
"Not something good. Especially now Dongsun is gone." I answered and as I felt Jongin's arms sneak around my waist, I realized I had made him scared. "It's gonna be fine."
"What are you involved in Kyungsoo?" His voice was muffled by my shirt. "I'm worried about you."
"Don't be. Wanna go do something fun today?" I said, ignoring his first question.
"I'm not in the mood." He closed his eyes and grabbed my shirt in his fist.
"Oh come on. Just the two of us." I laid my sketchbook away and turned my body towards Jongin. "Please. Don't make me do the puppy eyes."
"Fine." He pulled me closer to his warm body. "If you want to."
"Other than that day I took you out to eat pizza we've never been on a date again, so yeah, I want to." The real reason was that I was scared he would find out about my life one day and leave me. I wanted to take every opportunity to spend time with him and show him my love. Because there was still a tiny bit of hope that once he found out, he remembered how much love I gave him and maybe forgive me. "We can have a picnic."
"A picnic?" Jongin asked with a chuckle. "Exciting."
"Aish, you asshole!" I hit his head playfully as he started laughing. "I'll go on my own then."
"No babe, I'll go with you." He quickly replied.
"You sure?"
"Yes." Was all he said before burying his nose in the crook of my neck and sniffing in my scent. "But not yet."
