Kyungsoo
Jongin asked me if it was alright if he went to visit a friend and of course I said yes. Why wouldn't I?
He had looked at me with such worry in his eyes I wondered what was on his mind. I hoped he wasn't too freaked out about yesterday and I had to admit I was a bit ashamed about it.
Then I remembered what I had to do today. I sighed deeply.
Jongin was getting ready upstairs as my phone buzzed.
Unknown number: Back in business I see
I ignored Kris' message and gulped down the rest of my drink. I was nervous today. Not because of what I had to do for Lay, but because I really didn't want to do it anymore. I was done and ready for a new life.
Baekhyun and Jongin were my life now and I should stop with doing these things for lay. It wasn't worth it.
I heard footsteps on the stairs before Jongin walked in, "I'll be going, okay."
I nodded while licking my spoon clean. "Sure, when will you be back?"
"Are you seriously eating yoghurt at this time?" Jongin asked with his eyebrows furrowed. "I'll be home for dinner."
I nodded again, "don't insult my yoghurt. Every time is yoghurt time."
He rolled his eyes and chuckled. "Weirdo."
"Hey! Take that back." I pointed my spoon in his direction and squinted my eyes. "You say it like it's a bad thing."
"No. You just are." He placed a kiss on my forehead and looked me in the eyes. "I still like you, don't worry."
"Yah," I made a disapproving sound. "Is that all I'm getting?"
"You whine a lot today," he said, but leaned in to peck my lips. "You are not that desperate, are you?"
"Only for you," I answered and pulled him down again for a real kiss.
As he pulled back I noticed he was slightly blushing. "Can I leave you alone?"
After what happened yesterday night I couldn't figure out if it was a serious question or that he was just joking.
"Don't let your friend wait too long," I decided to answer and stood up. "Don't go with strange men. Not even when they have chicken." I warned.
"That'll be tough, but alright. I promise." He hugged me shortly before heading out the door with Monggu.
I walked to the kitchen and dumped my yoghurt and spoon in the sink, not bothering to clean it up right now. I watched how he drove away through the big window and took my phone out of my pocket, dialing Tao's number.
"Yo." Tao answered at the third ring. "This is the Chinese take away. Can I have your order?"
"Now I know why Lay hired you," I remarked. "You two are very alike and not in a positive way though."
"Can I just park in front of your house Mr. Do?" He asked in a sarcastic tone. "Is your wife out?"
"Yes you can and fuck off." I said and ended the call. Dickhead.
After a few minutes I saw a black Maserati pull up on the driveway. "Show-off," I scoffed, before putting on my shoes and grabbing my jacket.
"Nice day for a job," Tao said as I sat down in the passenger seat. "The sun is shining brightly for you."
I glared at him, "you're worse than Suho."
"Does your wife know you are fucking someone else?"
I punched his shoulder hard, making him wince and rub the sore spot. "Shut up or do it alone. Don't make jokes like that, it's totally not funny."
