It took a week and five days for the colour to come back into my face. I hadn't left Zone 6 since I broke out of BL\ind, and I was eager to take my newly painted black and blue striped motorbike out for a trip.

The dreams had yet to stop, though. Every night there was a different one. The only thing that remained the same was Korse's voice echoing in the air, threatening me.

"Are you sure you'll be okay?" Party asked me. I was just about to leave to go visit my friends at the church.

"I'll be fine, I promise." I balanced on my tip-toes to plant a kiss on his forehead.

"You said that last time, and look what happened." He held my hand tightly.

"Don't worry. There hasn't been very many Dracs out here since I got back." I reassured him.

"Alright." He nodded. I gave one last small wave, and rode off into the desert.

There was an unfamiliar car outside of the church when I arrived. It was black, and bullet marks littered the side. Two of the tinted windows were broken, and the hood of the car was dented. I quickly pulled out my ray gun, and slowly walked inside.

"Oh hey, Atomic!" Volume greeted me, a forced smile on her face.

"What's going on?" I whispered.

"Nothing. Nothing is wrong." She told me, her voice unusually high.

But then I watched her eyes dart to the kitchen.

'Val'. She mouthed.

'That bitch!'

"Oh, alright. I just popped in for a visit." I played along.

Ghost walked downstairs, his back straight, and he was on full alert. We made eye contact for a few brief seconds, until he hurried back upstairs.

'What the hell?'

"Come, get some food." Volume pulled on my arm.

'I'm sorry.' She mouthed again.

Volume lead me into the kitchen, and I was met by the white-haired man and two identical Killjoys with pink hair.

"Hello, Atomic." He smiled. I pointed my gun at him, only to be tackled by one of the twins.

"Get off!" I screeched.

"Vaya, stop attacking people. It's weird." The other twin crossed their arms.

"She had a gun, Vamos." Vaya hissed, pushing their body off of mine. I stabled myself back on the floor, dusting my pants off.

"Why are you here." I asked Val, sitting down at the old kitchen table.

"I heard about what happened at Better Living. I just wanted to make sure you were okay." He smirked.

"Well, I'm fine, thanks for asking." I spat, propping my feet up on the table.

"I also came to ask you something."

'Whoop, there it is.'

"Whatever it is, I'm not giving it to you."
