"Leave me out with the waste
This is not what I do
It's the wrong kind of place
To be cheating on you
It's the wrong time
But he's pulling me through
It's a small crime
And I've got no excuse."

Party was right, I felt horrible the next morning.

"You're burning up." Party commented sympathetically, placing his palm on my forehead.

"I'm fine." I choked out, my throat aching.

"You're staying in bed today." He ordered, putting his blanket over my ex-posed body.

"Fine." I mumbled, rubbing my face.

"Stay here, I'll be right back." Party left me alone in his room, and ran out to the diner. I sat up groggily, stretching my arms. From the corner of the room, I caught a reflection of myself in the mirror. The red marks on my neck were almost gone. Instead, a new mark had appeared on my collarbone, also courtesy of Val.

'Velocity, you piece of shit.'

I groaned in embarrassment, flopping back down in the pillows. Guilt began to fester in my stomach. I felt horrible about last night. I can't believe that I let him kiss me.

"God, you're so hot." Val's British accent dug into my brain.

The sick part was, I actually liked it.

Even after almost choking me to death, nearly killing all of my friends, and shooting me in the foot, I enjoyed it.

"Okay, I've got water and some more pillows." Party swung open the door to the bedroom with his shoulder.

"You're too nice to me." I sighed, propping my head on my arm.

"I don't think I do enough." Party commented, placing the cup of water on the bedside table.

I felt a lump rise up in my throat. I wanted so desperately to tell him about Val, but I know that I couldn't. I know that it would ruin everything.

"You know, out of all the concerts you could have gotten wasted at, it had to be AKA Loretta?" Party raised an eyebrow, sitting down on the bed.

"They were shit." I chuckled, propping my feet on his lap.

"Smoke and Ghost dropped off your bike early this morning, by the way." He told me.

"Oh right."

I had completely forgotten about my bike.

"So, what else did you get up to at this concert?" Party questioned me. I knew he meant well, but my heart grew heavy with regret.

"I just danced. Sugar and this girl named GoGo were the ones who gave me the Vodka, so you can be mad at them about that. I didn't really recognize anyone, besides Val."

Party clenched his jaw.

"How's that fuckface doing?"

"Shitty as ever." I scoffed.

"Did he see you there?" Party asked.

"I think he noticed me once, but I stayed out of his way." I lied.

"Well, I gotta go out on patrol. Anything else you need?" He stood up from his spot on the bed.

"Could you get my guitar please? It's been a while."
