"And this is how it starts
Take your shoes off in the back of my van
Yeah my shirt looks so good,
When it's just hanging off your back
And she said, "Use your hands and my spare time,
We've got one thing in common, it's this tongue of mine."
She said;
She's got a boyfriend anyway."

(I'm gonna make my chapters hella long now, as I'm trying to wrap this up. Don't mind me.)

I returned home with a heavy heart that night. Guilt had buried into my chest.

"Hey guys." I waved weakly at the four boys who were eating their dinner.

"Gear and Missile are spending the night at Dr. D's, is that okay?" Ghoul looked up at me.

"Yeah, totally." I walked over.

"Are you okay? You look a bit pale." Party scooted over, giving me room to sit next to him.

"I'm fine. Just the hangover." I lied.

"You sure?" Kobra pointed his spoon at me. I nodded quickly.

"One-hundred percent."

I could hardly look at Party. If he knew what I had done, it would destroy him. I loved him so much, and I was still in shock that I went back to Val's.

Jet tossed me a can of Power Pup, then went to turn on the radio.

"There's a storm coming. It's brewing in the air, can you feel it? Soon, it will come crashing down, and we'll have to be ready for the day the lightening attacks. But we have to remember, Killjoys never die."

Cola's voice spoke firmly through the radio.

"What the hell was that about?" I furrowed my eyebrow.

"He does that sometimes, to keep us on our feet. Don't worry about it." Ghoul told me, swallowing down another bite.

But Cola's words stuck with me for the rest of the night. A small part of me felt like something big was happening.

"Can you tell me about Destroya now?" I asked Party, who was lying next to me in bed. He sighed, turning his head to face me.

"Something that's supposed to save us all."

"But what does that even mean? Is it a person?"

"More like a bomb." He told me.

"Where is it?" I questioned.

"Supposedly in space. It's sort of a legend. All the rebels believe that Destroya is supposed to crash down from the sky. Apparently, it's a vessel of sorts, and there's one person who possesses the power to activate it." He explained.

"Sounds like a lode of crap to me." I scoffed.

"Yeah, well, everyone else seems to believe in it. I don't understand why Val would want anything to do with it. He doesn't believe in that sort of thing." Party commented. I almost shuddered when I heard his name.

"Party, I need to tell you something." My voice shook. The red-head tilted his head.

"What is it?"

"I-" I started.

'WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING? DON'T TELL HIM!'

"Sometimes, when I'm all alone, I sing Evanescence songs." I quickly improvised, deciding not to say anything.
