The night before~
Hoseok had just tucked in Mi-Hee and was ready to turn off the lights.
"Appa!" She called out to him.
"Yes cutie?"
"Don't forget about tomorrow okay?" He furrowed his brows and walked over to her once again sitting on her bed.
"Forget what?"
"Remember I have my dance recital at school tomorrow."
Hoseok nodded and smiled, "Right. I'll be there ok. No need to worry." Then he messed with the top of her head and walked out of her room to let her rest.

Present day~
"Ok one more time from the top." Namjoon said. All of the boys stood in position with heavy breathing and began to practice their dance one more time. You on the other hand were with your eight year old getting her ready for her dance recital. You picked her hair up in a ponytail and fixed her dress accordingly. It was almost time for the schools concert to being and Hoseok hasn't called you once. You decided to give him a call just in case he had forgotten due to his understandably busy schedule.

Hoseok's phone began to ring but the music was too loud that he wasn't able to hear it. You simply left a text message reminding him of the time. You hurried Mi-Hee out the door and into the car. You drove to the school and ran to where all the kids were standing backstage, you kissed her tiny head goodbye and took your seat with the rest of the parents in the audience. You quickly checked your phone but still didn't receive any calls from Hobi.

Hoseok; while at the studio, had practiced two more times and by the last dance moves of the song they were all tired and so they stopped while panting heavily.
"I need a break." Yoongi said, laying down on the cold floor.
"Me too." Taehyung said following Yoongi's actions and laying on the floor as well.
Hoseok walked over to were his things were and checked his phone. He saw a missed call from you and then a message. He checked his message and while reading it, he widened his eyes remembering Mi-Hee's dance recital.
"I have to go." Hoseok said while grabbing his belongings and making his way out the door.
"Where to?" Namjoon spoke up.
"Is everything alright?" Jin asked.
"Where are you going hyung?" Jungkook asked.
"Mi-Hee's dance recital." Hoseok told them hurriedly.
Once Hoseok was out the door Jimin spoke up, "Ahh, the perks of being a parent." Everyone smiled while Jimin took a seat on the floor.

Back to you~
All the kids bowed down and the curtains closed while parents were still clapping. Once the clapping stopped, you checked your phone once again just in case Hobi had called yet still nothing. A couple of boys came on stage and did a group dance then it was Mi-Hee's turn. As soon as the boy's finished, someone took a seat next you and you looked at him. It was Hoseok and he was leaning towards your ear, "Am I late?" He asked.
"Just on time." You said. Mi-Hee came on stage and looked for you and Hoseok. As soon as she saw you both she smiled wide and waved hello. A couple parents in the audience laughed softly and you waved back while Hoseok gave her a thumbs up. Her music began, and the song she chose was Me Gustas Tu by gfriend, she started dancing to the music and she was a complete natural; obviously, she was the daughter of a dancer. You and Hobi admired the way she danced around perfectly and then her dress flowing made the dance even better. The song came almost to an end and as soon as the music stopped she had her arm raised up in the air and a smile on her face. She bowed down and walked off for the next person to come up. The audience was quiet after the applause and all you heard was Mi-Hee wishing her fellow classmate good luck and everyone awed. You waited until it was over to make your way over to Mi-Hee.

"Eomma! Appa! How did I do?" She asked excitedly.
"Aww come here." You bent down to her level and hugged her. "You were amazing sweetheart."
"Thank you mommy." She thanked you and then turned to her father. "You were perfect" she then jumped on him and he kissed her cheek. He then set her down and began to dance while singing the song. You laughed at the sight of both of them dancing until you felt someone poke your shoulder.

You turned around and saw the rest of the boys smiling and telling Mi-Hee how good she was on stage. She bowed down and thanked them all. Jungkook handed her a single flower and she smiled. Mi-Hee was so happy to see her 'uncles'; as she calls them, supporting her. She hugged all of them individually and then Jin suggested going out to have spicy rice cakes. You all agreed and made your way out of the school to go have dinner with all your favourite people.
