"A baby?" You question him immediately.
"Yes a baby." He smiles big at you as he tries to hide his slight hint of disbelief.
"I don't know if we're ready.. if I'm ready."
"I understand." Suho gives you the slightest smile feeling a bit sad with you not wanting to start a family yet. He felt ready and was wondering what was holding you back from starting such a wonderful thing.

Just when you thought Suho had dropped the baby subject; he begins saying,
"Just imagine it, a little someone running around the house, playing around with toys and watching Disney movies early in the morning to late at night. Having to read bedtime stories so he can finally go to sleep. Or her running to our room in the middle of the night and snuggling in between us because she was having nightmares again. Us having to fight 'monsters' because they're in his closet or under his bed. Imagine you cooking while he sits in his high chair trying to have a conversation with you but it's all baby gibberish. All their firsts: first steps, first words, first date even."
You crack a smile at the thought of it.

"Someone calling you mommy, having someone look up at you or pull on your skirt just a bit to get your attention. Having a little tiny person hold your hand as tight as she can as you cross the street because it makes her feel safe. Imagine someone having to depend on you because you mean the world to him just the same way he would mean the world to us."

The way Suho explained it to you caught you by surprise. Seemed as if he had been rehearsing that for ages now and truthfully, you wanted to have a baby. You were just scared something wrong could happen during your pregnancy and it'd be such a loss to the both of you.
Suho kept looking at you to see your reaction to what he had just told you but saw worry in your eyes.

"Okay talk to me, what's wrong?" Suho holds onto your hand rubbing small circles.
"It's just.. I'm scared something wrong could happen."
"Oh baby." He brings you closer to him and makes you lay down next to him.
"If anything happens; we'll get through it, I promise. You well know we can't prevent things from happening but I know you're a strong woman who can get through anything."
"I really want to but that is the only thing stopping me. I want you to be happy and I want us to have a baby but I worry to much." You confess.
"It's okay. If you're not ready I can wait." He reassures you.
"I think I'm ready." You brave up.
"I don't want you to think you're ready, I want you to be certain because this isn't just for me. It involves you too."
You lay your head on his chest and smile at how understanding your husband was being, "That was beautiful by the way."
"What?"
"That little speech of yours."
All he does in response was bring your hand that rested on his chest up to his lips and kisses it.
