As you slept peacefully Namjoon went to check on you. He noticed how huddled up you were because of the cold temperature in the room. Namjoon grabbed one of your comforters to cover you up. He realised you must have been waiting for him to finish up his work but he must have taken too long because you had fallen asleep.
As he rested the blanket onto your shivering body you felt him tucking in the sides so you instinctively opened your eyes. "Joon?" You asked still feeling a bit sleepy. "Y/n? I didn't mean to wake you up." He apologised. "No it's fine, what's wrong?" As you asked your eyes adjusted to your surroundings. "Just came to check up on you. I'll be in the other room writing some more." "Babe, come here." You motioned to him patting the bed on your left side. "Why don't you get some rest y/n." "I won't be able to rest if you don't tell me what's wrong, I can tell somethings bothering you." He walked over to you shyly laying next to you letting you be the big spoon this once. You let him relax a bit letting his shoulders ease up and brought the blanket over to cover you both. "Ready to talk about it?" You quietly asked combing your fingers through his messy hair taking the semi long locks off his face. "It's not that big of a deal but I feel like I haven't spent enough time with you lately and that's kind of hurting my conscious. I love having you with me but I also like writing music. I just wish it didn't take up this much time." He breathed out. You leaned in to kiss his shoulder, "Joonie, I get it. And let me tell you this now, I don't mind you spending time composing music just take time not only for myself but for yourself too. I understand that's it's part of your job so I don't worry too much because it's just something you have to do. I love that you like writing music and there's nothing better than seeing you do something you love." You held him close nuzzling close to his neck.
He turned around facing you now not believing what he was hearing, "I can't believe I have the most understanding, caring and beautiful girl in my life, can't really get any better than this." He grabbed your face with one hand bringing it closer to his face to engulf you in such a loving and tender kiss, a kiss full of emotion and thankfulness. "I love you." Namjoon told you sincerely. "And I love you more." You told him feeling exactly the same way.
