C H A N Y E O L

It was that time of the month in which Mother Nature wasn't being the nicest. You were on your period and every little thing bothered you. You felt stressed, bloated and had the worst cramps. You were laying in bed with your phone in hand going trough your social media, seeing what was new. All of a sudden you got a craving for ice cream and a warm cookie underneath it. You groaned and stood up making your way to the kitchen.

You saw Chanyeol sitting half ways down the couch, lazily watching TV and yet he noticed your presence so he turned to you and smiled. You on the other hand looked at him and just gave an almost unnoticeable smile. You walked into the kitchen and took the ice cream out of the freezer and got a spoon; the biggest one you could find and began trying to get some of the ice cream out of its container but it was frozen solid. You threw the spoon into the sink in frustration and just looked blankly at the wall.

You didn't notice Chanyeol walk into the kitchen but there he was with confusion clearly written in his eyes. You made eye contact and he walked over to you and hugged you from behind. He rested his chin on your shoulder,  
"Is everything okay jagi?" He asked softly.

 
You just closed your eyes and sighed. "It's just that  time of the month." You said as a matter of fact. You felt him smile and he slightly chuckled, "Aw it's okay y/n. Come here." He grabbed you by the hand and guided you towards your couch. Chanyeol grabbed his guitar from the corner of the room, tuned it and began to play your favorite song. You laid back and closed your eyes feeling much more relaxed at the sound of him strumming his guitar. You loved the way he played. He would always do this whenever you felt down and you were glad he did because it most definitely eased you.

Once finished with the song you opened your eyes and smiled happily. You had tears in your eyes because you were so happy to have such a sweet and caring boyfriend like himself. You thought it was kind of silly for you to cry but your emotions were all over the place.
"Y/n? Don't cry, why are you crying?" He looked at you in a caring and comforting way.
You told him everything was fine and that's when he understood you probably had all kinds of mood swings. He simply smiled at you and you thanked him as he stood up.
"Why don't you stay here and pick a movie and I'll go get your ice cream. I'll even do it just the way you like it." You nodded in full agreement and picked out your favourite movie. He came back with your ice cream and you ate it happily. Chanyeol held you close to him and wrapped an arm around you while you ate. The rest of the night consisted of watching movies and warm snuggles.
