"H-Hi" I stared remembering that my blonde hair was probably hell set loose.

"Hey. Are you sick?"

I moved a hand over my hair.

"No not really. I just woke up" that was embarrassing.

"Oh, I see. You didn't come today, I thought you were sick." he looked skeptical.

"No I'm fine" I shrugged "I think I just missed the alarm nothing more..." looking at the clock, I realized that its three hours late for our appointment.

"OMYGOD. I'm so sorry. Did you wait that long?"

"No. actually yes." That was really embarrassing, not for me... for him.

I wonder where my manners were that day.

"Shit! Come in. I didn't mean to keep you outside"

He moved inside examining every part of the house. I lived here alone.

"Nice place"

"Well excuse me for the mess. Would you like something to drink?"

"Water is fine"

I went back with the water in my hand, handed it to him as I ushered him to sit down.

"So how did you get here?"

"Well it's simple.. " There was silence for a few moments which made me cryptic.

"Actually it's not..." he smiled, worried "I followed you before"

Talk about being weird.

"Not that I'm a psycho killer or whatever. I was just curious to know where you live"

"Why didn't you ask me?"

"What if you didn't want me to know" he admitted

"Fair enough" as I was saying the next words my mobile vibrated. It was a text from Lana.

You better come to that party Ned's throwing. I miss hanging out with you bitch

I couldn't help but ask him,

"There's that party I'm going to today. A friend of mine invited me, anyway would you like to join me?"

"I don't know... it'll be weird"

"No No it won't. I don't know anyone there either" I assured him

"What time is it?"

I texted Lana back that I'm accompanying a friend of mine and assured her that I will be showing up.

. . . . . . .

"What happened at that party?" Julianne asked me as I was lost in my thoughts.

I mean there was no point of telling her that Dylan stalked me.

"Well it ended up okay. It was boring at first, but when Lana showed up it was really fun"

. . . . . . .

That day as I was lying down in bed I remembered what happened exactly that day at the party. I remembered how I ditched Dylan to hang out with Lana, That same exact day we had that conversation that I will never forget because that conversation was everything I had to know.

YOU KNOW WHAT'S A LIE?

IT'S NOT A FRIENDSHIP WHEN BOTH OF YOU ARE KEEPING SECRETS.
