I woke up screaming, when I found someone's hand reaching for me, I cried and sobbed.

And all I could think of is that nightmare, he hugged me tightly as a reaction for my constant shaking, "it's okay. You’re fine, she didn't hurt you. You're fine"

"I-I… she… where is she?" I now remember Delilah. I got hold of myself again

"What happened?" I asked

He sat down on his chair again, right next to my bed.

"Nothing, some of the doctors heard you and ran to your help" he explained

"No, I mean what happened to Delilah?" I wanted to know

"Delilah is locked now. In one of those rooms"

One of those rooms? "You mean one of the emergency rooms?"

"Exactly, the rooms where violent, suicidal or even aggressive people are submitted"

"But she isn't… but she's… my friend" I said quietly

"What a great friend she was!" I always hated that type of sarcasm, but how can I blame him? It is true.

My eyes were glossy, and I needed to cry alone.

"I'm tired. I need to rest, can you please…" I requested

"Sure" he looked disappointed.

. . . . . .

Julianne called out for me the following day. "Sit down Nia"

 I followed her rules,

"Are you okay now?" She asked "Yeah. I'm perfectly fine" I smiled. "Delilah was a friend of yours right?"

"Yes" I answered

"Well I'm sorry" she said kindly.

"Did you know that Delilah doesn't want to admit being sick" she told me.

"Mmmm..." What did she mean? Does she mean that I'm like her? Am I everything she is?

"So you want to continue your story?" Even though her words provoked me but I did want to continue so I nodded.

"Remember that party?"

"Yes".

"Good" I told her.

. . . . .

At that party we sat down at first together and started talking; about the songs, people, drinks even food. It was before he asked me out on a date.

That day he started telling me about his sister, Samantha; she seemed nice from the way he talked about her.

"We're close you know?"

"That's great. I never had a sister... Or a brother" I smiled.

"Her wedding is close, I'm eager to go and wish her luck, especially since her fiancée is a friend of mine. Not close though" he explained "That seems nice, you know for a change, go meet new people have new acquaintance"

"Yes exactly, I need that... So bad and I also wanted to give her something" he told me

"What kind of thing?" I asked

"It's kind of a lucky charm" he moved his hand to his pocket to show me a golden watch

"I'm always having this with me" he explained

"Interesting" I told him, "I hope you have fun while staying there" I trailed off.

We stayed silent for a few moments and then he broke the silence, "But I will have to take a date with me" he smiled "would you like to come?"
