I froze at the sight of her face, she had her eyeliner on and her eyes looked bigger than usual.
Her voice was sharp but not in a repelling way, more like a sexy sharp voice.
Her hair was forming a sweet halo around her face, and her lips were covered with her cherry lipstick.
She looked like a doll, a new doll, as good as new.
"Don't be so scared, Nia." she smiled, "Don't you miss me?" she raised an eyebrow.
I stared at her blankly, "H-How did you get in here?"
"I can go anywhere I want, thanks to you." she moved closer to me, but I backed away before she could touch me.
She shook her head slowly, "You can't stay in the dark forever." she said in a low soft voice.
Something in me made me keen on knowing how did she end up here, or how was she doing anyway, I wanted to ask her if that is the reason why she hasn't been visiting me.
However that wasn't what made me speak, I don't know what made me talk, but all I know is that somehow I needed to talk to her, it was her mind, her shadowy mind was drawing me closer. I knew I shouldn't get closer but I had to anyway.
She sat down next to me on the squalid floor, and lit up a cigarette.
"In my old life, I would never do such thing," she said, "it's so you… you always did those things, you always broke the law." she passed it to me but I shook my head and she laughed.
"I guess time does change people,"
"What are you doing here?" I asked, finally managing to say something from the moment I saw her.
"I'm here because of you, sort of."
I looked at her skeptically, "What does that suppose to mean?"
She smiled, "Oh you like to play the innocent sometimes, and it seems that you've always managed to let people fall for your tricks Niala."
I stared at her, not believing what she's saying, why she was saying such words, those words hurt.
She laughed again at my expression, "Come on, let's be honest here… at least I'm trying to." she stood up and picked the locket from where she'd dropped it then returned to her seat right by me.
"You were such a bitch Nia, I admired you so much. The way you managed to make everyone fall for your charm, and the way you'd revenge on anyone you didn't like." her eyes were glowing in the dark.
She seemed to be talking about someone else other than me, because the person she's mentioning wasn't me.
"Oh please, you know what I'm talking about." she glared at me, and I continued looking at her in surprise.
"What do you want Lana?" I finally asked.
"I don't want anything to do with you. As last as I'm concerned you are the one who need me. You feel so lonely that you've been thinking about suicide. Geez the Niala I knew would never have such thoughts."
"I'm not thinking about suicide." I interrupted,
"You're not?" she smiled, "Is that why you broke the mirror?" she laughed
"I didn't break the mirror because I wanted to commit suicide; I broke it because I was angry."
She raised an eyebrow then in a sudden move she positioned herself right on top of me,
"What are you doing?" I said surprised
She put both her thumbs on my temples and closed her eyes,
