*Ryan's POV*

When I woke up, I was in a spread position across the bed and Daryl's body. My body glistened with sweat. 

I stared at Daryl's sleeping face. Even asleep, he looked exhausted from our... activities last night. I giggled at the thought.

Daryl blinked and opened his eyes. 

"Whattya laughin' about?" he groaned. "Was I that bad?" I laughed again. 

"No, you were amazin'," I said. "People say that if you laugh durin' sex, that person is the one for you." 

"I love you," he said. "But I gotta get ready. Aaron's takin' me out on my first recruitment today."

"Yeah, I've got a run today," I said. The two of us got out of bed and got ready. I walked Daryl downstairs and kissed his cheek.

"You two are perfect," Glenn gushed from the table. 

"Get your head in the game," I rolled my eyes. "Eugene needs our help findin' a thingy at a store today." 

"Then let's get moving," Glenn clapped me on the back.

Glenn and I met up with Eugene and the rest of the run group. He pulled out a piece of tech from his bag. Noah handed him a gun.

"Oh, no, thank you," Eugene shook his head. 

"Just take it," Nicholas scoffed. 

"Come on, you gotta protect yourself," Noah said. 

"Not if I don't go," Eugene pointed out. 

"We're not drivin' all that way just so we can drive back with the wrong shit," Aidan said. 

"It's a dozen of these," Eugene explained. "They are consistent in appearance across manufacturers. The shit will be right. I will install said shit. Then the grid will be fully operational again."

Noah gave him the gun and walked off. Tara tossed Noah his bag while Glenn and I filled the truck. 

"Heard you talking to Holly last night," Tara said. "What's her story?" 

"Why do you ask?" Noah questioned. 

"No reason," Tara smirked. 

"Mm-hmm," Noah turned his back.

"It's an innocent question," Tara giggled. "Don't make me hurt you." 

"Tara, you're intentions are far from innocent," I winked. She flicked me and walked off. 

"We got everythin'?" I asked. Glenn nodded. Maggie kissed him goodbye and gave me a hug. 

"Daylight's burning!" Aidan yelled. "Let's go." 

"Don't forget who's boss!" I pointed a finger at him.

"Yeah, I'm still driving," Aidan said smugly. I rolled my eyes and got into the back with Eugene, Tara, Glenn, and Noah. Aidan revved the engine and we started driving.

"So, seriously, though, what's her story?" Tara asked again. Loud music started playing over the radio. 

"Great, another mix," Noah groaned. 

"Helps draw 'em away," Glenn shrugged. As we drove away from Alexandria, us runners started to bond.

"So, the new guys, what's there story?" I asked Glenn.
