Ragnvald's POV
"Come out, come out wherever you are." I stated. "I'd come out if I were you, because hiding is pointless. I will find you, it's just a matter of time. I know every hiding spot in this house. I found your dad when he hid, and I'll find you."
Kaden's POV
He's never going to find me, because I'll just keep changing my hiding spot. I know that, that's a risky move, but I need to make sure that he doesn't find me.
"Why don't you just come out? We all know that I'll find you, no matter where you hide. I bet that you're hiding in the exact same spot your dad hid, and if you are hiding there you're fucking stupid."
Since I had no idea where my dad hid, I just stayed where I was, since it was too risky to move anywhere else, but I did move into one last spot before I stopped for good, and that was a crawl space underneath the floor.
Ragnvald's POV
I started walking over to the exact same spot Daniel hid and that was near the crawl space, which was located near the pole his son was handcuffed to. It was located behind the medal shelves, which was stocked with all of my boxes. It didn't take me long to reach the shelves, I made my way behind them and started to walk to the middle. I knelt down and knocked on the door.
"I know you're under there. You might as well come out, or would you like me to pull you out? It's your choice. Come out willingly, or come out forcefully. You have two minutes to decide."
Kaden's POV
This must've been where my dad had hid, since he found me this easy, and I knew that I was going to come out one way or another.
I took a few deep breaths, then I placed my hand on the door, and took one final deep breath.
"Ten seconds, if I were you I'd hurry."
I pushed the door up and climbed out.
"You're one bad hider. Next time if you're going to hide, find a better place to hide."
"Oh, trust me I will."
Ragnvald's POV
I clutched my fist, started to walk away, stopped, turned back, and punched Daniel's son straight across the face over and over until he begged me to stop. Normally I wouldn't, but this time I did.
"Well, since you thought you could hide from me...it's time for you to pay. That little beat down I delivered was only part of it. This next part is something that you're not going to enjoy."
I grabbed Daniel's son by his shirt and started to pull him back out into the open. I walked him over to the pole and handcuffed him to the pole for a second time.
Once I was sure that he couldn't escape I left the room and headed upstairs. I walked into the living room and looked at everyone.
"Rashad, I need you to go and grab the meat cleaver. Tristan, I want you to go grab that small table I keep in the garage next to the cans of paint."
5 minutes later...
Once they returned the three of us headed back down to the basement. I walked over to our captive and took off the handcuffs.
"You shouldn't've hid, now you'll have to say goodbye to your life."
"I'm sorry for hiding. I promise that I won't do it again, please I beg you to reconsider. I'll do anything, just as long as you reconsider. Please... please... please."
"You had your chance and now it's time to pay."
Just then my captives phone started ringing, I took it out of my pocket and answered.
"I thought you cared about your son, and now he's going to have to pay the consequences. I'll let you say your goodbyes."
"Ragnvald I just need a little bit more time, the store clerk was being a bitch and it took longer than I anticipated, please don't kill my son. I'll be there, it's just going to be awhile."
"I'll give you until ten in the evening and if you're not here by then your son can kiss his life goodbye. I'll hand him the phone so you can talk to him, you have three minutes."
Kaden's POV
"Hi Kaden."
"Where were you dad!? You said that you would be here! What happened? I was really fucking scared dad. I thought that you would always be there for us, like you promised. I thought that I could trust you. Obviously I can't. You lied to me dad...and I'm never going to forget that. Some dad you are. I'm never going to trust you...or forgive you. And dad, you didn't just lose my trust...you also lost a son."
After that I just ended the call.
I placed the phone down on the table, walked over to the pole and just sat down beside it.
