On the road...
"Hey, Mrs. Riggs?"
"Yes."
"This may sound strange but...before my mom died, she said that I could live with my friends. I'm just wondering if it's all right with you?" I ask.
"I'll talk it over with William and then we'll let you know what we think. How does that sound?" Mrs. Riggs replies.
"Sounds A-Okay to me."
Home...
Mrs. Riggs and I had just stepped into the house, my eyes still had some tears, and I immediately headed down to the basement. When I got down there Grayson was surprisingly waiting for me to finish our match. I approached him and placed my new console onto the couch.
"Where did you-"
"My mom and dad bought it for me, it was like a goodbye present from her and him. They told me that I should live with my friends, right now your mom and dad are discussing if I can stay or not." I answer.
"And it even comes with 'Unity?' You're one lucky duck." Grayson declares. "Screw playing 2k15, let's play 'Unity,' instead."
"All right, I'll complete the first two sequences and you'll complete three, four, and five. Sound fair?" I wonder.
"Yep, now hurry up, get it hooked up." Grayson demands.
"Calm down." I laugh.
"Sorry, I'm just so eager. I get to play this game before my brother and boy will he be jealous." Grayson announces.
"Just don't rub it in his face." I state.
Once I had the machine connected and had my profile on there, I was all set to play the game. Grayson handed me the case, I took out the game, placed it in the system and waited. Once it was loaded, I loaded the game up and waited again.
3 hours later...
I had finally and successfully completed sequence 1&2 and then handed the controller over to Grayson. It was great timing to because Mrs. Riggs called out to me. Grayson decided to pause the game until I came back. I ran up the stairs and then walked into the living room. I sat down on the chair and listened to what Mr. and Mrs. Riggs had to say.
"William and I thought it over and decided that you can live here as long as you live up to our expectations."
"Ok." I spoke.
"Just so you know the curfew is to be home by 10:00." Mr. Riggs implies.
"All right."
"Is there anything we should know about you, do you have seizure disorder, are you allergic to anything?" Mrs. Riggs asks.
"I have had some seizures before, it's been like four years since the last one. They don't happen too often, but ever since that last one, I haven't had one yet. I guess you can say that I have a seizure disorder." I responded.
"All right, thanks for the info, just take it easy on those video games." Mrs. Riggs proclaims.
"I will, you have my word." I state.
"Oh yeah, your supper is in the microwave if you're hungry." Mrs. Riggs declares.
I just nodded. I warmed up my pizza and then headed back to Grayson. As soon as he saw me he asked, "So, what did they say?"
"They said, pack your things and go find an apartment to live in." I joke. "They also told me that I should say my goodbyes now otherwise I wouldn't be able to say them later."
Grayson gave me a stern look.
"All right, they said that it was ok if I lived here. I'm assuming that I'll have to sleep in your room, since you don't have enough room." I reply.
"I believe so, yeah. I'm actually glad they let you stay."
I just smiled.
