Arriving Back Home and Reciving Some Shocking News

Daniel's POV
My phone started ringing, I took it out of my pocket and saw that it was Kaden who was calling me, plus I already knew that it was going to be Ragnvald on the other end, but I answered it anyway.
"I hope you've been keeping your word Ragnvald and that Kaden has been remaining harm free, because if you hurt him I'll kill you without hesitation."
"Well, hello to you to dad."
"Are you all right Kaden? He didn't hurt you, did he?"
"Yes he did. He even threatened to cut off some of my fingers."
"That bastard! I told him that there would've been consequences if he hurt you. Now he'll have to answer to me!"
"Dad, calm down. It's ok I already made him pay. I gave him the beating of a life time. That's how I escaped, but it wasn't easy. I was nearly shot, but luckily the bullets missed."
"Kaden, I am so, so sorry that this happened to you. I'm sorry for being an awful father. You must hate me."
"Dad, you're not an awful father. You're the best father that I could ever ask for. I love you dad. I love you with all of my heart."
"I love you too Kaden. I'm glad that you're all right. I thought...I thought that I wasn't going to see you again, I know that I shouldn't think like that...since you're my son and all, but..."
"But what?"
"I'm just glad that you're all right."
I was surprised that I could even talk at all, since I was really letting it out. My face was totally soaked and so was the neck of my shirt.
"Dad? Are you still there?"
I took a few deep breaths and wiped away my tears before I answered my son's question.
"Dad? Are you there?"
"Yeah, I'm here. Hey Kaden?"
"Yes dad?"
"How close are you to "the house that shall not be named."
"You don't want me to go back there, do you? Because if I do, they'll kill me! Do you want that!? Do you want to lose me again!? Because that's what's going to happen!"
"Kaden, if I lost you and Alice again...I would end my life to come and join you two."

Outside the phone call...
"Daniel!" Grayson yelled.
I took the phone away from my ear and muted my end of the call.
"What?"
"What's with you and committing suicide!? Like seriously! Don't you want to live your life to the fullest? You have so much too live for."
"Daniel you should listen to Grayson, he knows what he's talking about."
"I know, but I still don't want to lose them. They mean a lot to me, just like the two of you and my brother James."
"We understand Daniel, but it's like we said a long time ago..."suicide is never the answer."
"Dad? Are you there?"
"Hold on one second guys."

Back on the phone...
Yeah, I'm here. I'm just conversing with my brothers."
"I thought you were talking to me."
"I am, but I can still multitask. I can still talk to them, while I talk to you."
"Well, at least give me a heads up. That way I don't think that you're ignoring me."
"I would never ignore you."
"Can you still give me a heads up though?"
"Yeah."
"So, why did you want to know how close I was to "that" house?"
"Because I want to send a cab to come pick you up."
"But if I go back there, they'll kill me. They're probably looking for me right now."
"Well, if they are end the call, find some place to hide and call me back."
"But I'm scared dad. What if they find me? What am I supposed to do then? I'll be screwed. If I run I'll die, and if I try to fight my way out I'll die."
"I know you're scared Kaden, but trust me on this...but it's better if you're in a safe place and not out in the open. Be sure to find somewhere to hide where no one would ever think to look, all right."
"Ok, I'll call you back when I get into a safe place."
"Ok. Bye."
"Bye. I love you dad."
"I love you too son."
After the call ended I placed my phone back in my pocket, and sighed sorrowfully.
"Daniel? Are you ok?" Grayson asked.
I didn't respond. I just walked away.
"Come on Daniel, talk to us. We're here to help you. But we can't help you if you don't help us. We can tell that you're worried about Kaden, but we can assure you that we'll find him and that we'll bring him home." Chandler stated.
I stayed silent once and continued to walk away from my brothers.

Grayson's POV
"Come on Chan, let's follow him and makes sure he doesn't do anything stupid."
"All right."

5 minutes later...
We had finally caught up with Daniel, and Chandler had grabbed his left shoulder, and I had grabbed his right shoulder to keep him from "running" off again.
"You don't have to hold me back guys. I won't run off again."
"Promise?" I queried.
"I solemnly swear. Even though you didn't ask me to I'll say it anyway, I cross my heart, hope to fly, and stick a cupcake in my eye."
Chandler and I chuckled a bit.
"What? Are you laughing at the fact that I'm a bronie?"
"Why are you even watching that show? It's "technically" a girl show. I don't see how you got into it."
"Well, one day when I was like five I saw that my cousin or she could've been my sister watching it. So, I asked her what she was watching and she said "My Little Pony". So I just stood behind the couch and watched for two, maybe three minutes before she said, "Daniel, if you want to watch this show with me come sit. So I sat down beside her and we watched all of the seasons in three days. Our favorite character is Rainbow Dash, because of her personality and the element of harmony she represents...loyalty."
"You're one crazy bronie Daniel, now we know what kind of gifts to buy you for your birthday and Christmas." Chandler stated.
"You still haven't released me from your grasp yet guys."
We let go of Daniel, he turned to us, thanked us, and then he collapsed.

Kaden's POV
I wasn't sure how long I have been running, but I had finally found a place to hide. It was just a barn, at least it was something. I headed inside the barn, ran to the back, and hid behind a stack of haystacks. I brought out my phone and caller my dad, but this time it took him longer to answer his phone.
"Ok dad, I'm somewhere safe. Now what?"
"Kaden, this is Grayson. One of Daniel's brothers."
"Hi. But why didn't my dad answer?"
"Well you see he didn't sleep since he got the news that you had been kidnapped and he just collapsed."
"Is he all right?"
"Yeah, he's fine."
"Good."
"I know I'm not your dad, but I can try to help you."
"Sure. What do you think I should do?"
"Well, I would make sure that they couldn't get to your hiding spot no matter what."
"What else?"
"Well I don't want to worry you, but I would want to be ready just incase they do find you. So have a weapon ready and waiting. A .30 carbine would suffice."
"Good thing I found one on my way over here and luckily it was fully loaded."

10 minutes later...
"How are you holding up Kaden?"
"I'm nervous as hell. How long am I going to have to stay in this barn
"Until we're sure that they aren't following you."
"But that'll take forever!"
"I know, but..."
"Shhh."

Kaden's POV
Well now I'm officially screwed once again. I just hope that they lose interest and go search somewhere else. I just hope that they don't search behind the haystack near the back of the barn. If they do, I can kiss my life goodbye for a second time.

Ragnvald's POV
"Find him! Find him and bring him to me! And if you guys ever talk about me behind my back again, you'll regret it! Is that understood!?" I roared.
"Yes boss!"
"Good! Now get searching! He has to be in here somewhere!"

Kaden's POV
I ended the caller, turned off my phone, and put it back in my pocket.

10 minutes later...
I was standing in front of Ragnvald once again and he looked pissed.
"I'm going to kill you! And you'll never see your family ever again."
"You may not know this but as your goons we're searching for me they were talking about you behind your back again. Saying things that you won't want to here."
"Like what?"
"They said that you're a motherfucking bitch and that you should have been aborted."
Ragnvald left the barn and I had a feeling that he was going to take care of his goons. I took this opportunity to escape and climbed up the ladder, ran over to the window and jumped out. I made sure to roll when I landed, but I ended up twisting one of my ankles. Luckily I didn't let that stop me, I just did my best to run away and made sure that I didn't stop nor look back.

4 hours and 45 minutes later...
I had just arrived outside my house and  I immediately ran up to the front door and knocked. The door was answered almost instantly and I was immediately invited in. My aunt and my sister just pulled me in for one long hug. For me it felt like it lasted for half an hour, but it only lasted for five minutes.
"We're glad that you're back Kaden. We've missed you terribly."
"Thanks. I missed you two as well."
"What would you like to eat?"
"Can we have pizza?"
"Of course. What kind would you like?"
"Chicken bacon ranch."
"Anything else?"
"Honey garlic wings and a two liter of Pepsi please and thank you."
"You're welcome."
"Hey Kaden, can I talk to you?"
"Of course you can Alice. What would you like to talk about?"
Alice and I headed into our room and we sat down on her bed.
"Well I know that this is going to sound absurd, but I love you..."
"I know that you love me, you're my sister."
"That's not what I mean. What I mean is...you see...I have a crush on you."
