"Sara! Are you ready yet?" Jesy asked.
"Almost!" I answered.
We decided we were going to the party next door tonight. It's the first one we've gone to any party honestly. We've always been invited, but never gone. But Jesy really wanted to go this time so I decided to go with her. Well, my parents decided I could go with her. I was finally ready and walked down the stairs to meet my very impatient best friend.
"Come on!" She grabbed my hand and dragged me out the door before I was all the way off the stairs.
"Bye Mom! Bye Dad!" I yelled to them.
"Bye sweetheart!" They both yelled back. Jesy dragged me all the way over to the house next door.
Let me tell you a little about this kid next door. He is pretty much a punk. He's in a band, plays lead guitar, and swears a lot. Sometimes he skips school to go hang out with his band. He's also not very good in school, almost failing. My parents don't like him very much and were pretty hesitant about letting me go to this party. But with a lot of convincing, they finally gave in.
We walked up the front steps and were greeted by no other but himself.
"Hey girls!" my neighbor, Luke, said. "I want you to meet some friends of mine."
This is really only the second or third time we have talked or even seen each other face to face. Like I said before, my parents don't like him very much. So I'm not really allowed to hang out with him.
He brought us into the dining room where three boys were sitting at the counter.
"This is Calum, Michael, and Ashton," Luke said, gesturing towards each when he said their names. Each one waved a little when their name was given. "Guys, this is Jesy and Sara."
Michael got up from his chair and grabbed Jesy's hand. "Care to dance?" he asked her.
Before she could answer, Michael took her into the living room where the music was blasting. She seemed pretty happy with that. I smiled at her before turning back to the boys.
"Nice to meet you," Ashton said, holding out his hand. I shook it. "You have really soft hands."
"Thank you," I said blushing.
"Hi," Calum said, waving.
"Hey," I replied, waving back. We both laughed.
"Let me go introduce you to some other people," Luke said, leading me to the living room. Instead of stopping and saying hi to anyone, he led me up the stairs to his room.
"I thought I was going to meet some other people?" I asked.
"It was just an excuse to get away from Calum and Ashton so they wouldn't ask questions," Luke answered.
"Oh, I got it."
Once we were in his room, he closed the door and locked it.
"There is something that I have wanted to tell you for a while now," Luke said with his back to me. He turned around and looked into my eyes. "I have a really big crush on you."
"Are you sure you have the right girl?" I asked.
"I do," he answered. He started to walk towards me. "I want you. Like now. What do you say?"
"I don't know Hemmings," I replied with a smirk.
He pushed me against the wall and slammed his lips into mine. Slowly, he started to grind his hips into mine. I started to moan a little.
"You like that?" he mumbled into my lips.
"I love it." I mumbled back.
He started to grind in harder. Then we heard someone coming up the stairs. Luke slowly pulled away from me.
"Sara?" It was Jesy.
"I think you better go talk to her," Luke whispered. I nodded my head and walked towards the door. I opened it and saw Jesy at the top of the stairs.
"There you are!" she said. "I have some really exciting news!"
"What?" I asked
"Michael asked me out!" She squealed with excitement.
"That's awesome!" I answered. We shared a hug before she pulled away and gave me a skeptic look.
"So what are you doing up here?" she asked me with raised eye brows.
"Well Luke wanted to talk to me in private so..." I trailed off.
"Mmhmm," she said. "Well I will leave you two alone because I think Michael is waiting for me. Tootaloo!" And she was gone. I walked back into Luke's room and closed and locked the door. He was sitting on his bed looking at the ground. I walked over and straddles his waist.
"So, I say we get back to kissing. How about you?" I asked. I saw a smile creep up onto his face.
"I like that idea."
I wrapped my arms around his neck and pushed my lips into his. By the time we pulled apart, we were both out of breath.
"Do your parents hate me?" Luke asked.
"Yea, they do," I answered.
"Then why are you here, doing this with me?"
"Because I really like you."
He slowly pushed his lips into mine.
"You aren't like any other girl I've met before," he said, leaning his forehead on mine.
"How so?" I asked.
"I don't know," he answered. "You're just different. In a good way, of course. And I just feel different with you."
I kissed his lips. "I feel different with you too." I gently grabbed his bottom lip in between my teeth. That's when my phone buzzed.
Mom: It's almost curfew. Get ready to leave.
I sighed and put my phone back in my pocket. "I have to go," I told Luke.
"Why?" he asked.
"My mom set a curfew for today."
"Oh."
"I'm really sorry Luke."
I got up and walked towards the door. Luke followed.
"Wow, your mom really doesn't like me."
"Unfortunately yea."
We went to go find Jesy. She was in the living room, on the couch, making out with Michael.
"Jesy, we have to go," I told her as I tapped her shoulder.
"Now? Really?" she asked, breaking away from Michael.
"If you want to get yelled at by my parents, then you can stay," I told her.
She jumped up. "Hell no. I'm not getting yelled at by your parents. They scare me a bit."
"They scare a lot of people," Luke said.
"Can we please not talk about my parents like this? I mean they still are my parents," I said.
"Sorry," Luke and Jesy said.
"So when will the next time I see you be?" Michael asked Jesy.
"Whenever we can get away from Sara's parents long enough to hang out with you guys," Jesy answered.
"Don't worry," I said. "We will figure something out."
"I sure hope so," Luke said.
