Jesy left the house a couple hours ago. Since I have nothing better to do, I decided to walk through the forest behind my house. It’s the middle of summer, so if you can find anyway to stay out of the sun, you’re good. I threw on a cute pair of short shorts and a tank top and my favorite pair of vans and walked out of the house. I made it a few feet into the woods before I heard someone behind me.

“Hey Sara.” It was Luke.

“Hey Luke.”

“So, there was something that I wanted to ask you last night but never did.”

“Go for it.”

He shoved his hands into his pocket and slowly walked towards me. He looked down at the ground and bit his lips before starting.

“I was wondering if you would like to become my girlfriend.”

I lifted his chin up and kissed his lips.

“Of course I would love to be,” I replied. He planted his lips onto mine. “But wait,” I added pulling away. “What about my parents? They really don’t like you.”

“We will just have to keep this a secret,” he answered. “I’m willing to try if you are.”

I stared at the direction of my house for a long time.

“Don’t worry.” Luke took both my arms. His hands trailed down until they reached my hands, which is where they stopped. “Everything’s gonna be alright.”

“I swear to god if you start singing the song,” I started with a smile.

Everything’s gonna be alright. Aaaayyyyight. Be alright. Aaaayyyight.” He sang. We both laughed.

Luke pulled me in for a hug. I wrapped my arms around him and rested my head on his chest.

“I just don’t want you to get hurt.”

“As long as I have you, nothing can hurt me.” He kissed my lips and his hands sank down to my back pockets. I made my hands sink down to his. I just hope that this will last.

(Sorry this one's a little short)
