When we arrived at the police station, Jesy and Michael were sitting in the lobby. I ran over to Jesy and we embraced each other in a massive hug.

“I’m so sorry about this whole thing,” Jesy said, crying into my shoulder.

“It’s okay,” I reassured her. “It wasn’t your fault.” We stayed in our embrace for a long time. I tried hard to hold back the tears, but I let a couple slip out.

“They are free to go,” the lady at the desk said. Jesy and I finally broke our hug.

“Stop crying,” she told me as she was wiping away her tears. “It will only make me cry more.” We laughed.

“So what do you guys want to do today?” Michael asked as we walked out.

“How about a party?” Strike said with a smile. I shoved him. “Hey!” he yelled, laughing.

“I don’t want to go to another party anytime soon, thank you very much,” I replied. Luke came up next to me and grabbed my hand. I smiled at him and he smiled back. Jesy came to my other side and grabbed my other hand.

“Together, like we should be,” she said, holding up our hands. We smiled at each other. We reached the cars and walked to the ones we were taking. Luke took me in his car, Calum went to his car with Bret following, Ashton to his, Strike to his, and Jesy and Michael went to Strike’s car.

“Whose house are we going to?” Calum asked. Opening his car door.

“I vote Sara’s,” Luke said.

“What? No,” I replied.

“Oh come on, please?” he begged. “You said your parents aren’t going to be home until tomorrow.” He gave me puppy dog eyes. Dammit Luke, why are you so cute?

“Okay, fine,” I caved. “But only if you promise to not make a mess in my house or have the cops show up because of something.

“Promise,” they all said at once.

We all hopped into the cars. We started them up and Luke drove off first, followed by everyone else. And we went over to my house.

(This one's really short. Sorry :/)
