I feel like I’m doing something wrong. I shouldn’t be doing this. I’m not the type of person to sneak out of the house.

That’s why your parents won’t suspect a thing, said the devil conscience in my head. It’s just one time, no harm can be done, right?

Don’t listen to that, Sara. You’re better than that. You would never defy your parents’ rules, right? Said my good conscience.

I thought about it for a long time.

“Sara, we’re going to bed now,” said my dad. “Goodnight.”

“Goodnight,” I replied.

I looked at the clock. Only 9:30. I got up and looked through the clothes in my closet. Might as well look good, right?

I picked out my favorite tank top, a pair of ripped skinny jeans, and my green vans. I put it all on and looked at myself in the mirror. I decided to put my hair up in a messy bun.

“I can’t believe you’re really going to do this, Sara,” I said out loud to myself.

I picked up my cell phone.

Me: My parents r asleep.

I stood there, looking at the text for a while, trying to decide if I should send it or not. I hit the send button before I had fully decided. No turning back now.

Luke: Then ill be over in a few J

I looked back into the mirror. I just stared at myself, didn’t say or do anything. I heard something hit my window. I walked over and opened it.

“Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair,” Luke said from the button of the vine.

“Very funny Luke,” I said with a smile on my face. I slipped out the window and onto the vine. I closed my window, leaving a little opening for me to open the window when I got back. I started to climb down the vine. I moved slowly because I was shaking so much. I was just about to the bottom when Luke grabbed me by the waist and pulled me all the way down.

“Glad you decided to come,” Luke said turning me around. I kissed his lushes lips with passion. He kissed back with an equal amount of passion.

“I’m glad I did to,” I said once we broke apart.

“Let’s go,” He said leading me to his car. He opened the passenger door for me. I got in and he closed it. “We’re going to pick up Calum and Ashton, too. Is that okay?”

“Yea that’s fine,” I answered.

He turned the keys in the car and started to drive off. I couldn’t help but keep looking over at him every couple of seconds.

“Like what you see?” he asked with a smile on his face.

“I don’t like it,” I answered. He turned his head sharply in my direction. “I love it.” I added, chuckling a bit. He turned back to the road and laughed.

We arrived at Calum’s house first. He came running out and practically jumped into the car.

“Drive away, like now!” Calum said.

“Got it.”

Luke quickly put the car into gear and drove off.

“What was that all about?” I asked.

“My mom was trying to give me the sex talk before I left,” Calum said. I burst out laughing. “I don’t even have a girlfriend!”

“Well, that could change,” I replied, still laughing. Calum and Luke started laughing.

We pulled up to Ashton’s house next. He wasn’t waiting outside for us so Luke texted him that we were here. Five minutes later, he still hadn’t answered or come out. Luke honked the horn. A few minutes later, Ashton finally came out of the house. He slowly walked out to the car. Luke honked again and Ashton sped up a bit.

“Man you’re impatient,” Ashton said as he got in the car.

“Dude!” Luke replied. “We’ve been waiting for you for like ten minutes!”

“Hey, it takes time to look this good!” We all laughed. Luke drove the car and we were finally on our way to the party.

“How come you’re not picking up Michael too?” I asked Luke.

“He’s bringing his own car because he’s picking up Jesy,” Luke answered.

“Wait, she’s coming to the party?”

“Yea. Didn’t she tell you that?”

“No. She hasn’t texted me since she left my house yesterday morning.”

“That’s weird,” Calum added.

“Did you do anything to make her mad at you?” Ashton asked.

“Not that I know of,” I answered. “Unless it’s the whole thing about my parents not letting me do stuff.”

“Why don’t you talk to her when we get there,” Luke said.

“I will.”
