It's been an hour since my dad told me to leave. Luke hasn't let me out of his sight. It's cute and annoying at the same time.

"So...." Strike said.

"What should we do?" Calum asked.

"We could head back to the cabin," Jesy suggested.

"That sounds like a good idea," I said.

"But what if your mom comes back?" Luke asked.

"Hopefully my dad can talk some sense into her."

"What if it doesn't work?"

"Then I guess I'm becoming a permanent resident at someone's house."

We all laughed.

"My house it is then," Jesy said laughing.

"Or mine," Luke added.

"Hey, she was my best friend before she was your girlfriend."

"Touché."

"So do you guys really want to head back to the cabin?" Liz asked, walking into the room.

"Yes! Let's go!" I answered. I jumped to my feet and was quickly pulled back down onto Luke's lap. "Luke!" He just chuckled at me. I squirmed free and got up again.

"Alright. We just need to get into the car."

We all went out and filed inside the car again. We cranked up the tunes and sang and danced along. Then Jesy brought up the dreaded subject.

"What are we going to do when school starts again?"

"What do you mean?" I asked her.

"Well are you going to live back with your parents? They do have to buy you the school supplies."

"They already have bought it. I'll just have to sneak it out of the house."

"But what if you get caught?"

"Then I get caught."

We sat in silence for the rest of the ride. Someone's phone went off a bunch of times. I checked and it wasn't mine.

"Gosh darn it," Ashton said, pulling out his phone.

"What is it?" I asked.

"My mom. She keeps trying to text and call me."

"Are you going to ignore it?"

"If I ignore it, I'm in big trouble. If I pick it up and answer, I'm in big trouble."

"I feel your pain." The two of us laughed.

It's surprising how much alike our mothers are. They both hate it when we hang out with these types of people, but Ashton learned to defy it sooner. I wish I had learned sooner.

We pulled into the cabin driveway once again. We took the bags back inside and put the stuff away again. Then we all just chilled in our rooms.

"What is going to happen when school starts again?" I asked Luke in a soft voice, standing by the window looking out. Luke sat up on the bed.

"Don't think about that just yet," he said.

"But school starts in a little more than a month. I can't help it." I turned to face him and leaned my back against the wall.

"Come here," Luke said, opening his arms. I walked over to him and stood between his legs. He placed his hands on my arms. "Don't think about school just yet. Think about this time we have together. Who knows when we will be able to do this again."

"Okay," I replied. He hugged me and I hugged him back. "It's always going to be in the back of my mind though."

"I know it is, baby. I know."

Luke laid back down in the bed. He patted the spot next to him and I went and laid there. He pulled me close to him. I started to drift off to sleep.

I dreamt of a world were nothing could bother us. Where Luke and I could be together forever, without any interruptions. Luke woke me up and brought me back to the reality because it was time for dinner.

We got up and walked to the table on the back porch, hand in hand. We have this habit of swaying our hands back and forth a lot when we walk, and we are definitely known for it in this cabin.

Luke and I sat down in our chairs and Luke pulled my chair closer to his before we could start eating. I turned to face him and smiled before placing a kiss on his cheek. He turned and did the same to me.

"No PDA at the table please! I'm trying to eat!" Calum said. We all laughed.

"Oh please, Calum. You would do the same if you had a girlfriend," Luke replied.

"As hot as her? Hell yea!"

I felt my cheeks heat up. I saw Luke smile at me out of the corner of my eye. Then he placed his arm around my shoulder.

"Too bad she's mine there Calum," he said.

I smiled at him before kissing his cheek again and continuing to eat. After dinner, we cleared our plates and went back to cuddling. That's what we did for the rest of the day.
