The music was turned up pretty loud. I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a soda. The party had really started to grow about 30 minutes ago. I took a sip of my soda then looked around to try and find Luke. I lost him in this mess of people.
"Hey Sara," a drunk Ashton said walking up to me.
"Hey Ashton. Have you seen Luke?" I asked.
"I think so," Ashton slurred out.
"Where?" I asked.
"Backyard maybe."
"Okay, thank you"
I turned towards the back door and shimmied my way through the mass of people. I finally made it out and saw Luke sitting on the porch with Calum and two other guys I didn't recognize.
"Hey," I said walking over to them.
"Hey babe," Luke said, pulling me onto his lap. "This is Taylor and Jack."
"Hi," Taylor said.
"Nice to meet you," Jack said.
"Nice to meet you too," I replied.
"So what brings you out here?" Luke said, resting his chin on my shoulder.
"Just looking for you," I said, kissing his nose. He smiled.
"Well, you found me."
"Thanks. I didn't notice," I said sarcastically. Luke chuckled and I felt his chest moving when he did.
"Are you really only drinking soda?" Calum asked me.
"Yea, I don't drink," I replied to him.
"I think we might have to change that." Calum got up and walked back into the house. When he came back out, he had two beers in his hand. "Here," he said, handing me one.
"Calum I don't drink," I said again.
"Awe come on, Sara. Just one?" He gave me his famous puppy dog face. I sighed and took the bottle. I took a sip of it then made a face at the weird taste. The boys laughed.
"So, do you like it?" Jack asked.
"I don't know," I said, taking another sip. The taste started to grow on me by the third sip. "It's not too bad once you get used to it." The boys chuckled at me.
"So how long have you two been dating?" Taylor asked.
"About a week?" Luke questioned.
"Yea, something like that," I said.
"That's cool," Jack said.
Strike came running out. "Uh guys? Jesy is about to start stripping on the table and we need help stopping her."
"Oh my god," I said getting up and running inside. The boys followed behind me.
"Over here," Strike said, leading the way. When we got there, Jesy looked about ready to take her shirt off.
"Jesy! Get down from there!" Michael yelled.
"You know you love it!" Jesy slurred. She has had way to much to drink.
"Not here!" Michael yelled back.
"Jesy, come on! It's time for yo to get down!" I called up to her. She looked at me for a while, then she hopped down off the table.
"You have the magic touch," Michael said walking over to Jesy and wrapping his arms around her waist. "I've literally been trying for two minutes to try and get her down."
"Next time, just start off by calling the best friend," I giggled
"I'll have to remember that," Michael laughed.
I smiled and walked back outside with Luke, Calum, Taylor, Jack, and Strike. We sat in a circle facing each other. Luke pulled me onto his lap again. I looked down at his hands in my lap and started to play with them.
"Having fun?" he chuckled. I turned and smiled at him.
"Maybe," I replied. He kissed my lips.
"So what happened at your house the other day Strike?" Taylor asked.
"Well, Will called Ashton a pussy. Ashton got mad. Will punched Ashton. They got into a fight. We broke it up. Maggy came over to see if Will was okay. She called the fabulous six losers-"
"Who's the fabulous six?" Jack asked.
"It's basically the fabulous four plus Jesy and Sara," Strike said. He continued. "Anyways, this little one," he gestured towards me, "decided to stand up to Maggy but eventually got knocked out. Luke got upset and then Pete beat him up-"
"I threw some punches!" Luke said defensively.
"Yea, sure, okay," Strike said. "So then they had to be pulled apart. The Ashton, Luke, and Calum made a little circle around Sara. Jesy and Michael went over to Pete, Will, and Maggy and started to yell at them. Then a huge brawl started. Ashton, Luke, Calum, and Sara somehow escaped. Someone called the cops. They came and arrested Jesy, Michael, Pete, Will, and Maggy."
"Wow," Taylor said.
"Intense," Jack added.
"Yea so that was my crazy first party," I said. They laughed.
"I thought I recognized that voice out here," someone said. My face went pale and my smile faded. "You thought you could hide, didn't you Sara?"
"Oh my god," Strike whispered.
"You are in so much trouble, missy," my mom said as she walked onto the porch.
