(Noah’s POV)

'Goodbye Noah' Sam hisses through our mindlink. Not being able to handle watchng my Sam leave, I walk away from the window and toward my bed where I can sit and be miserable about myself.

‘Good-Bye Sam, I will miss you, and I will always love you’ I begin sobbing once again. I can’t believe I hurt her like that. I can't believe she's leaving our pack.

(Sam’s POV)

A tear escapes from my eye at his goodbye. Despite it all, I will miss him. He is my mate afterall, nothing but death could ever distroy what we're meant to have. I still love him too, just not to the point that I could continually forgive his mistakes.

“Goodbye everyone” Shane says, taking position at my flank.

“Yes, good-bye to all!” Baylee shouts. Everyone chuckles at his weirdness as he comes to stand at my other flank, awaiting the moment we all free ourselves from this place.

Apparently, according to the wlolves leaving with me, I'm going to be the Alpha female of our little pack because my mate is an Alpha. Though, as much as I suggested Kayla for the position, since she has Alpha blood in her, no one would lisen. However, Kayla didn’t want to be an Alpha and stated I'd be perfect for the job because I'm smart and put others before myself.

“Come on guys, let’s get out of here” I mutter, getting agitated with standing around on Noah's land. The area in front of the pack house erupts into the shimmering sound of shifting, and clothes tearing apart.

‘See ya lil’ sis’ Zach says in my head.

‘See ya big bro’ I say back. Then we're off, we start running as one, all of us in sync and with Baylee and Shane at my flanks, protecting me.

After about an hour of silent running I come to an abrupt stop. Everyone takes a second to turn around and circle me.

‘What is it, Sammy?’ Kayla questions, her big fur covered wolf's head tilting to the side slightly.

‘If we’re going to be a pack, we'll need a name. Otherwise, we're all just rouges’

‘Good point, Sam’ Nick says.

‘Oh well, Noah’s pack name was Dark Midnight' Baylee says and we all nod.

‘What about, the Runaways" Riley chimes adding an almost depressing idea.

‘No’ everyone simultaneously says, laughing afterwards.

‘Okay well, what about... the Defenders of the Moon'  Baylee says in such a dramatic tone we all practically drop to the floor in laughter. ‘What? It’s a good name’ he says, clearly unimpressed with our lack of enthusiasm for his idea.

‘Oh, oh, oh! What about Southern Cross Wolves’ someone yells over the noise of chatter through minds. Everyone stops at the sound of the voice.

‘Who said that?’Shane inquires.

‘Why are you all so surprised of my voice?’ The wolf asks and all our heads snap to the girl with lime green eyes and brown hair. It’s Bella.

‘Because not many of us have never heard your voice before’ I tell her.

‘Oh right, well do you like my idea?’ She asks. There are a lot of yeahs and ah hums, so we decide that’s a good name for now and we start to run again.

Lots of things are going through my mind now,

What will happen to the Dark Midnight pack?

Will Noah be okay without me?

Why did he have to do that to me, again?

Then a thought comes to my mind which makes me stop dead in my tracks again. 'What is it now, Sammy?’ Kayla asks.

‘It's just, we have seriously left now, we can't just go back and beg for Noah to take us in again’

‘Well yeah Sam, that was the plan, wasn't it?’ Shane asks me from my side, hurt bouncing through his eyes.

'What if something bad happens? What if we get attacked? We're such a tiny pack compared to others’ I say with dread lacing my thoughts and voice.
