(Sam’s POV)

(16 & a half years later)

“MUM!!!”

I sigh “What is it honey?”

“Tristan stole my straightener” i roll my eyes,

“TRISTAN GET YOUR BUTT DOWN THESE STAIRS AND GIVE MELODY’S STRAIGHTENER BACK!” i scream up at my 18 year old son,

He comes bounding down the stairs “but mum she wont let me borrow her hair dryer”,

“Tris go get the straightener and Mel go get the hair dryer, im sick of your banter” i say walking off towards the kitchen,

“You dibber dobber” i hear from behind me,

“I HEARD THAT TRISTAN JONES” i hear Melody giggle,

“ha ha you got caught” she whispers,

“I HEARD THAT MELODY JONES” i hear Tristan chuckle,

“HA HA YOU GOT CAUGHT” Tristan yells and i roll my eyes,

In the kitchen i have just finished my coffee and am putting the cup in the sink when someone smacks my butt, i spin around and hit the person across the arm “Hey, i was only giving my fine looking wife a, you-look-so-hot-in-that-dress tap on the butt” Noah defends,

“Good morning to you to Hun” i say sarcastically,

“Good morning” he swoops in for a peck but i grab the back of his head and hold him in place, not that he would be complaining at all, “defiantly my favourite morning” he whispers against my lips and i giggle,

“You say that every morning babe” i mumble into his lips,

“i know” he says and cuts off my giggle by placing his hands on my butt instead of lower back and deepening the kiss with his tongue in my mouth. He lifts me up like a feather and places me on the bench with him between my legs, me with my hands in his hair and him with his hands running up and down my back. I moan. i will never get used to the feelings he brings to me.

“EW, CALL THE EYE DOCTER CAUSE I NEED NEW EYES” Melody screams walking into the kitchen with Tristan trailing behind slowly,

“Oh grow up, we see them kissing all the time” Tristan says walking towards the fridge and pulling out a bottled water.

“I don’t care i still think its gross” she mumbles,

I walk over to my stunning daughter and embrace her in a hug “honey you look amazing” she pulls away and smiles,

“Thanks mum” then she goes in for another hug and whispers in my ear “do you think Lachie will think so as well?” i nod,

“Of course he will, he thinks you are the most beautiful girl in the world”, she pulls away and smiles again,

“Thanks mum” i smile and nod then walk back to where Noah is standing at the bench and wrap my arms around him,

 Melody grabs the cereal and asks “Tris can you get the milk out of the fridge please” she asks nicely,

“No” he answers flatly,

“Tristan, get the milk for your sister and stop being a pain in the backside” Noah says turning to look at Tristan with pleading eyes,

“Fine, but she should get off HER lazy backside and do it herself”

“Tristan” i warn,

“Sorry mum” i grin at him, i still haven’t gotten over him calling me ‘mum’, he grabs the milk and walks over to where my 15 nearly 16 year old is sitting at the table,

“Thanks big bro and ill try not to ask you again” she pats him on the back,

“Yeah yeah just pass over the cereal please”

“Sure, here ya go”

“Ok kids eat up quickly because we gotta get going”

“Yes mum” they mumble with mouths full of food,

“im going to do my hair” i say walking off towards the stairs,

“And i need to grab my shoes” Noah says running up to me from behind,

“WE KNOW WHAT YOU GUYS ARE REALLY GOING TO BE DOING NO NEED TO LIE” Tristan yells to us,

“AND WHAT IS IT THAT WE WILL BE DOING” Noah yells back,

“THE DIRTY” Melody yells,

“WHAT? WHO DO YOU THINK WE ARE WE WOULDNT DO THAT WHEN OUR KIDS ARE DOWNSTAIRS AND BESIDES WE ONLY HAVE LIKE TEN MINUTES THAT IS DEFAINTLY NOT ANOUGH TIME TO DO THE DIRTY” i scream to them,

“EWW MUM GROSS” they scream back and i chuckle,

“WHATEVER YOU SAY CHILDREN” Noah yells to them,

“Babe i really am going to be doing my hair ya know” i whisper,

“Yeah i know i was only grossing them out” he whispers back.
