I love my roommates, I really do. But sometimes.. They can really.. tick me off..

"Good Morning, Maroon!" Colin said as I exited my room "Mornin', Colin." I said, yawning. I made my way over to the table, sitting down. "How did you sleep, Maroon?" "Eh.. Depends." Colin sighed, turning over the pan above my plate. The pancake somehow didn't stick to it, falling right into my plate. "Thanks.. Colin." "No problem, Maroon!" Colin said, smiling and returning to cook the others pancakes.

Carter's room door shined with blue light, him exiting. "Morning, Cart." I said, gulping down my orange juice. "Morning, Mar." He said, sitting down next to me at the table. I got up to get more orange juice, when Colin rushed over. "Need more orange juice, Maroon? I bet you do. I'll go get you some!" I opened my mouth to say there's no need, but in no time, he had the cup back in my hand. "Thanks I guess, Colin." "No problem!" Colin said, going back to making pancakes. "I swear," Carter said, looking out the window. "He's really.. really.. annoying. Did you hear a noise last night?" "Yeah." "That was Colin typing up something. I think I saw my name mentioned." Carter said, looking over at Colin. Colin smiled, waving with his free hand.

"Well his last name is Strange, so I except him to have some aspect of strangeness." Albus said, sitting down on the other side. "Oh, good morning, Q." "Morning." Albus said, watching the pancake fall from the pan above to his plate. Albus ate his share of the food, drank about one cup of orange juice, and went back to his room. "You know, he really lacks the ability to clean up." Carter said, groaning. Every morning, Albus told Carter to clean up his garbage, and wouldn't let him say no since he left immediately. Carter sighed, going to his room after.

"Hey Colin, do you mind if I ask you something?" I said, finishing the last of my orange juice. "Alright, Maroon." Colin said, sitting down. "Why are you so.. you know.. strange?" "Oh.. that?" "Well," Colin said, clearing his throat. "All my life i've felt like an outsider.. No one's wanted to be my friend.. They always chanted at lunch.."

'Colin Strange! Colin Strange! He's evil, he's strange, he's Mr.Strange! Look at it, why don't you? Take a peek and the Strange! Look just there! He's preforming a trick! A bunny out of a coat? How original is that! Colin Strange! Colin Strange! He's the strangest of the strange! The dumbest of the dumb, the curious of the curious! He's... Colin Strange! Colin Strange! Go on, take a look! I dare you!'

"They would always tease me.. Call me strange.. Just because I could do what everyone else couldn't! All of them were bullies.. all of them.." Colin said, starting at his empty plate.

"Colin.. I wouldn't know how you felt. All my life it's just been my family. Until I got here. You.. were lucky no one was after you. People were after me my whole life until about a year ago."

"Really? Not even going out to the supermarket?" "..No." "Out for coffee?" "Nope." "Wow Maroon.. I feel bad for you. "You shouldn't really," I said sighing, "My family stayed safe. That's all that matters to my father, and me." Colin smiled. "Well i'm glad you made it, Maroon. Since the start of school, you've been such a great friend.. I can't thank you enough for accepting me." "Hey," I said, smiling, "No problem. I've needed friends that aren't my family for awhile now. We both owe the world for what we have now." Colin nodded, getting up. "Well, Mar, do you mind if I call you that?" "You can." "I gotta get ready." "Alright,Colin, I should too." Colin went through the door to his and Carter's room, smiling. I went into mine, changing into a red shirt with my father's symbol on it. I put on jeans, and slipped into white sneakers. I didn't do my hair this morning, though, since it was still the weekend, and hey, who cares?

*Sniff* I feel bad for Colin, really I do. It's so sad :~: ! Buuut I still love the kid to death. He was meant to be the annoying roommate in the beginning, but I hope he plays a bigger role later on. Anyway, Goodbyeeee! Also this isn't a draft! Ugh..
