Chapter 17: Heart to heart

"We're going into to the prison, Maroon, are you coming?" "Wh- huh-" I had been staring up at the sky, th- hey- why do you want to know? "N- no. I'm fine. Someone should watch for the goblin anyways." "Right. Alright, let's head in." Everyone headed in, except me of course. I know.. I said I wouldn't let them out of my watch. But i'm still protecting them!

Batman walked by, saying nothing. Wait- Batman? Isn't he..- "Mornin', kid." He mumbled as he passed. "Mor- wait- Batman- you're..-" The world turned black, and my head slammed down onto the concrete. I really hate sleep darts. It was the Green Goblin, again.

I opened my eyes, looking around. We were in the sky apparently. I looked past the goblin's face, and saw- Issac? "Hope you enjoy your new home, boys." The Green Goblin said as we boarded a plane. He took us into the back, strapping us down into seats. "I know what you can do, so don't try anything." He said, turning around to the cockpit. "So." Issac said, looking up at me. "Staying outside was a good idea.. why?" I rolled my eyes, looking out the window. "I just don't want anyone to be taken. That's why I stayed outside. I thought he'd.. find some other way. Not through the front. Apparently, I was wrong. But at least i got taken."

"But i'm here too, isn't that bad?" "Yeah.."

"Hey.. if it doesn't bother you, why do you hang out with Taylor so much? If.. you don't mind me asking.." "I don't mind telling you, actually. But remember, keep this to yourself. Our little secret if you will." Issac nodded, "I will." "Alright. So the first reason, is because I like her. You can't see the great things about her, can you? Course you can't. You already like someone else." "Hey- how to you know?" "I'm guessing. Anyway.. Her hair's really pretty, ever noticed that?" "No.." "She's also really funny- and bright. And no, I don't believe in the blondes are dumb thing. My sisters are blonde. Also it's stupid." "Agreed." "She's really kind, too. Like if you asked me who the nicest person I know is, i'd say Taylor. No doubt."

"Hey! Shut up! We're here now." The Green Goblin said, getting up from his seat and undoing our seat belts. "I know you're good boys, so I trust you'll follow me. No funny business." We both nodded, looking at each other, and following behind the Goblin to the cells.

He brought me and Issac to the same cell, closing the door behind us. "Food's in a hour. Try not to drink all the water in one sitting." He sneered, walking off.

"So." A boy said, standing up. "You're here too huh?" He said, shinning his claws. Meet Walt, son of Wolverine.
