Chapter 26: The Golden Trio

 Me and Isaac sat down on the couch in the mission center. What do you do there? Oh come on, it's in the name. Taylor came in a few moments later. "Hey guys. What's your super-hero names?"

  "Speedster." I said.
  

  "North wind." Issac said.

  Taylor looked down at her phone, and started typing. "What're you doing, Tay?" "Filling out my application." "We have to do that?" "Apparently." Issac said, taking out his phone.

  "Alright then." I took out my phone and started filling in the application:

  Name-Maroon Allen

  SuperName-Speedster

  Age-14

  Abilities- Water, Super speed

  Level-0

  Companion-Screech (Screeching owl)

  What happened to magic, you might ask. Well hold on, I'll tell you. When Taylor dropped me off on the blimp, Magic flew with them. He was killed, and didn't come back. Why wasn't I dead too? The answer is simple.

  It was an accident I got water powers, so it was a accident I got Magic as a pet. He was never like me, and your pet should be. He was always hungry, wanted wanted peck me whenever he wanted something, and was sometimes greedy. I didn't like him too much, but I still didn't hate him either.

  Apart of joining the Young Justice, is deciding if you want a new pet. Since Magic died, I got a new one. A screeching owl, and him Screech.

  "Hey guys?" "Yeah?" "We got a trio mission." "I didn't think my first mission would be a trio mission.. But it's with you guys, so who cares." We all smiled, and headed out to the jet.

  "I think we're going to fight a Roalstin. " Taylor looked at me in fear. "What the heck is a Roalstin?" "They're giant monsters. They have the head of a snake, the body of a lion, and the tail of a polar bear." I gulped. "Not bad." I whispered in Taylor's ear, "And I thought a Screeching bat was bad.."

  We landed, and sure enough, there it was. It ripped the roof off a building, sending it flying. It then proceeded to rip each floor off the building, throwing it in the opposite direction.

  "This is going to be fun." I said, sarcastically.

  Taylor flew out of the jet and started firing water at the creature. "Take that you scumbag!"She screamed.

  "She knows it doesn't understand her, right?" Issac asked, watching the monster roar at her. "Er.. No.."

  I hopped out of the jet, holding a rope. I started to super speed around ths monster's four legs, able to keep up with it backing up. Isaac started freezing it's paws once it was cornered, and it's legs we're tied together. I moved up it's legs tying it up. I kicked up a bit of smoke, which tends to happen when I go in the direction of a tornado. When it was all tied up in rope (althought it was more like stuck in a basket made of rope) it started to drown.

  Soon Nick Fury came on a jet, and took the monster. We hopped back on the jet, and Taylor kissed me on the cheek, and the plane lifted up. My face was a light shade of pink. We took off, heading back.
