I yawned, and walked into SQ. "Maroon!" A voice called from behind me. Give me a second to render- Next thing I knew, I was on the ground with someone on top of me. "What the-" "Hey Mar." Carter said, bending down.
I blinked. "Of course.. and Colin's on me, isn't he?" "Yeah!" Colin called from on top of my back. "Thanks." "So Mar, what have you been up to?" "Oh you know, super stuff.." "That isn't much.." Colin said, getting off my back. I got up.
"I was kidding, Colin." "Oh.." "First I got attacked by this guy.. Flamekeeper.. Second was Magmar and Kee. Kee's this giant rock guy. Last of all is the Joker and Trayzone. They captured me and Taylor today. Just got back. Trayzone wants Taylor's heart.. blah blah blah.. not while i'm still alive. Trent.. that flithly son of a-"
"Hold on- Trent?" "Yeah, Trent. He was at Taylor, Tyler, and mines's birthday party, remember?" "Him? I think he's a little too popular." Carter said, popping a piece of gum into his mouth.
"Yeah, true. How's Mystic Academy anyway?" "Fireproof." I rolled my eyes. "Not that, you idiot.. How is school?" "Oh! Great." "You aren't a depressed bum without me?" "Er.. No. I'm doing fine." I raised a eyebrow. "Ok- I missed you Mar!" "That's what I wanted to hear."
"Hey, Maroon." "Huh- oh- hey, Ronnie." Meet Ronnie Jones Bloom, Carter's older brother.
"Did you happen to see a switchblade around..?" Huh. Sounds like Salazar. "It's blue.." There are probably a lot of blue switchblades. "It turns into this large long sword.. Handle has a good grip.." I took Salazar (in switchblade form) out of my pocket. "Is this it?" "I mean.." I turned Salazar into his long-sword form. Ronnie smiled. "That's it! Salazar!"
I blinked. "You know.. Salazar?" "Know him? I met the real Salazar!" I raised a eyebrow. "Who the heck is 'the real Salazar?" "You don't know him?" "I found the sword at a gas station.."
Ronnie sighed. "Explains it. Anyway.. yes. Salazar was a real person. One of the elemental's most powerful enemies. I should know, I've fought with them before." My eyes widened. "You fought with the elementals?"
"Er- No. They were turned to stone 5 Eons ago." "Oh.."
"Although, the original owner of Salazar did. His name was Sirius Fluer. He was a friend of the elementals, and fought with them against Salazar. Salazar was once a good man. He was even Sirius's friend. But he back stabbed him, and became a villain. Sirius eventually got caught up with the Elementals, joining them in the finale fight against Salazar. When he was defeated, Sirius still had a bit of respect for the man. He ended up naming his weapon Salazar, after his once friend."
Carter raised a eyebrow. "That's weird. If someone back stabbed me.. I wouldn't name my weapon after them."
"Well Carter, this was over 5 Eons ago. Anyway, Sirius is long dead. I doubt even Fax would remember him if he was alive." I shrugged.
"Probably not. He was turned to stone. He's back now, though." Ronnie's eyes widened. "Really-? They're back? Alive?" "Yeah, you didn't know?" "Er- No.. Finale exams.. I was busy. But this is great! Where can I find him?" "In his room." "And where's that..?" "I dunno.. I'll ask Taylor when she get's home."
"Who's Taylor?"
